I’ll actually be covering that in the video I have coming out this week! The overall difference is actually going to surprise a few folks id bet too brother!
I grew up on snowmobiles and yamaha blaster, but riding area got turned into housing. Rode super street bikes for years, but other drivers on the road made me sell it. Looking to get back into 2 wheel therapy.
It surprisingly does really well. I’m actually planning on releasing a full on review of it. I haven’t found anything it won’t do yet. Lugs really well at low rpms in single track. Little more use of the clutch at times depending on how technical you get of course but does amazing. The KLX will probably be more of a tractor for slower areas like my CRF is. And more of an engine brake as well with moderate throttle response. The KX is snappy on the throttle being a woods racer though. I LOVE the weight of the KX though as well. Easy to throw around compared to my CRF. KLX if I’m not mistaken is about 300 lbs vs 230 with the KX.
@ThatGuy-771 yeah, klx is heavier, less adjustments of suspension, no adjustments of pegs or bars. The 2025 has full power map editing by use of app. So I think that'll help tame it down till it's needed.
@@fizzdizz9835 yea the way the do the new KX I was kind of salty I didn’t hold out to get a 2025 now lol I mean the 2024 I have 3 different map plugs to plug and play on it for different settings but that app to tune it would have been pretty sweet to have. That’s what I have with the CRF
@ThatGuy-771 yeah, I was totally going for the honda crf250rx but haven't been able to find any some what local, then looked at 2023 and 24 kx250x and saw the plugs. Then debated over the yzf250x bc of app tune ability. Randomly just check kawi website and saw the updates for 2025. Would you get a new 24 kx250f for 7k and put parts on to be similar to the x or just buy a 25 kx250x for 9k?
How does the 250X feel compared to the 275F? Power? Weight? Lugability?

How is it in low rpms? For slow sections on single track? Debating on a 2025 kx250x or klx300r.
