Photographically speaking this is your best video. The photos/videos of Cusco were amazing. A couple of them reminded me of some of the photographs taken my Martin Chambi, the Peruvian Ansel Adams if you will. Chambi was called the Poet of Light and some of his photographs where exhibited at New York’s MOMA. He was born in a small town in Puno was fascinated when he saw the first photographic camera way back then, so he traveled to Arequipa to learn photography at the studio of a famous photographer named Max T. Vargas. Does this name ring a bell???? Well, he had a son named Alberto Vargas that he sent to Europe to study art but WWII was about to start to be moved to California and became and artist. Ever heard of the Vargas Girls pin-ups???

Potatohead is a part of all your adventures. He's such a sweet boy! Good luck finding a vehicle, the videos will be great! Until next time, ciao.
I remember in one video lindsay was asking why lomo saltado was so special if it looks like a normal beef potatoes and onions.... well she had the answer in her hands. Its because of peruvian aji amarillo. Also aji panca and especial give that special flavour of peruvian cuisine 😊😊😊
Guys, you have explored cusco better thn anybody. Your videos are awesome. You guys made Peru a place that i have to go again an really really explore. Keep it up guys. Love from Los Angeles, CA 👍🏻💪🏻

So excited for you guys to do a road trip in Peru! There is so many places you guys can visit!!! Hope you get the chance to go to the coast and jungle of Peru!
For Peru. Your best bet would be a Toyota Hilux 4X4. That way you guys can go places that are not easily accessible for most tourists and just discocer Peru like no other. Just a tip..
Wow! Am I hungry now! It was great seeing you have access to that kitchen! It's nice seeing all those fresh ingredients transformed into a delicious meal!
Thanks for a great video on Peruvian cuisine. Also I like your Inca style poncho's. I'm sorry not to be able to help you out with a van in Cusco, but anyway I wish you good luck with that. From a European view the spreading rate of Corona virus in Peru is still increasing so I hope you guys will be able to get on with your plans. Take care and stay safe.
You guys have weaseled yourselves into my heart with your no nonsense exploring of my beloved Cusco Magico. Your walk up Cuesta Santa Ana this morning brought memories into focus of a day I experienced when drivers were on strike and the city was quiet like that. I also have a collection of pictures I entitled “doorways and portals of Cusco” which features many of the ones you let me glimpse along your way. Then, of course, getting down to basics in the kitchen to make an ahi de gallina...
Aji de gallina yum!! Great job cooking, guys! Honestly, I would prefer not driving those roads if it was me. You will find that some of the roads may be challenging to drive (sharp turns/drops). I would recommend hiring a local driver or have someone that is familiar driving those valleys and mountains for years. I don't want to be a spoiler, I just want to make sure you guys stay safe!
@ 3:46 besides the house with the blue balcony on the third floor. THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT ON THE FIRST FLOOR. It looks like a colonial Cathedral inside. It is called "El Truco Restaunt" you guys should explore it when things get back to normal.
Very creative video I enjoyed! You should try those snacks called tortees that were next to to you, when you were standing outside of the little store they are better than quates
thas how nice is the pople in Peru with tourists almost everybody is friendly and open ( is different in corona days but yes i heard that from people from all over the world .
You guys surprise me cooking and learning and I am hungry so I am going to Costco to buy chicken and cook ají de gallina and eat it later love the vlog
Lindsey, I love that poncho, I am dying to see the reverse. How lucky you were that you were able to use a professional kitchen and learned from a professional. As William explained to you aji pepper used in preparing a lot per Peruvian dishes. If you take out this key ingredient you cannot cook Peruvian food. The difference between aji pepper and jalapeño pepper is that jalapeño peppers don’t have the favor and aroma that the aji pepper have. What a wonderful experience you guys had. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! Loved Lindsey's poncho. Looked like Alex made a mask change as well. You might try fb vantrader or rv van trader. Perhaps someone is staying put and would be willing to rent their converted van to you. Stay safe, have fun and God bless. 😷😁🙏
The country of Peru is wonderful. The geography of the country is another story, and to drive it, is not too safe, and can be very dangerous. Peru, like any other country has good, and bad people, and foreigners throughout the world are looked as easy prey. Some parts of the country also, have some of the most dangerous roads in the world. So, do your research, and use your better judgment. Best wishes!
Absolutely awesome poncho! Right before Lindsey was mentioning that it was possible to walk around for hours without getting tired of seeing all the sites I had just finished thinking " I never get tired of seeing Cusco". You capped off a great video with the aji de gallina cooking demo which had me drooling. Really hope you can find a vehicle to do the road trip.
What a fantastic idea guys, I hope you will find the van for your Peruvian adventure. That would be outstanding!!! 👏👍👌 you can even take potatoe head with you! 🐶🐶🐶😊😊😊 Some people are saying that would be dangerous bur I think they are wrong. Most of the turistuc places in Perú are safe to drive avoiding hard and treacherous roads. Whenever I watch your videos I think it's the best but you keep beating your own each time. Amazing and touching. I really love and enjoy all of them.
Loved this video. Empty streets looked amazing, potato was handsome and that food and juices looked delicious. I sooo hope you do vanlife, that would be amazing. If you don't get any offers then do another fundraiser and we will all chip in xx
