@@Thevacomaticvacuumcorner of course 😄 I don’t bring them out in the dirt or anything but I definitely play with them when they come off the shelves for videos and I’m actually planning on making some special videos soon of some playtime with my boys. Just need to find the right rug 😃

Excellent tonkas what's the vallue of your collection🤔👍👍👍
@@sylvainburelle9102 thank you! I honestly haven’t sat down to put a value on it and I’m too scared to add up what I’ve spent hahaha 😅. I will say that I’m a bargain hunter so all my pieces always have immediate equity. It’s actually on my to do list to start to catalog everything. Stay tuned!
@@mightytonkamadness so do you restore your tonkas or do you have some one that does restoration on your tonkas .I've had yet to find a Tonka at a yard sale or flea market that is in perfect condition bying on line is expensive . and theirs always kid damage broken windows rubber smoke stack broken in half. paint chipping. stickers. permanent markers stained and my favourite sand jamed in the wheels and all the joints .never restore if you don't no what your doing that's my tip .never stop collecting tonkas. They are a classic toy that never get old for us big kids or buddy l trucks or marks or metal craft.their all great toys from are child hood.😉👍👍🚜🚜🚜
@@sylvainburelle9102 all my Tonkas are 100% original other than the occasional rubber stack or wrecker hook. I don’t do any restorations or buy any that have been tampered with. Many people do but it’s just not my thing. Most of my collection is in lightly played with condition and a few are almost pristine. Some have cracked windshields, paint chips, minor rust spots, etc etc. The only deal breaker for me is missing decals. Many are only differentiated by their decals so that’s my only requirement minus a small few that are super rare and unmistakable. Even then i consider them a place holder till I find a better one. But like I said i am very much a deal hunter. If it’s not a good deal i pass. Patience is very important. Where I live there are almost never nice Tonkas and most of my collection has come from the internet at very fair and mostly below what they are actually worth even when factoring in shipping. Most things can be shipped for under $20-$30 for the Mightys. When you factor in the time and fuel it costs to drive around to find nice toys it’s actually a lot cheaper to buy online. That’s the way I look at it.
@@mightytonkamadness asome I have a pretty good collection my self mostly small tonkas the big wons a harder to display and i don't have the room so they just stay in my shed for now plus being a toy guy I collect other toys to like my my little pony collection which I and proud of .all generation g1 to g5 and whoever said that if a guy collects girls toys makes him gay seriously has problems in his head. I'm 38 and I'm proud of my collection I'm not ashamed what's so ever. I always said you can tell a lot about a person by what they collect but it takes a real man or women not to juge someone by what they collect
@@sylvainburelle9102 agreed! No hate here at all! Collectors and antique dealers and buyers are some of the coolest, nicest, and most interesting people I’ve ever met. What kind of money are the tiny's bringing nowaday's?
@@spark1up204 depends what they are of course and their condition. Most are typically $20-$30 or less. The simple vans or trucks usually $10-$15 in nice condition. Lowboys usually $15-$20+. Things like the Ryder truck are usually $30+ because they are harder to find. Private label trucks can get crazy as well as any Japan toys which consistently have been bringing $100+ for excavators and cranes. Really depends what it is though
