Truth is she never wanted a relationship, marriage, or children. Relationships meant relinquishing control, she always wanted to be in control. RIP Ms. Hyman

Phyllis had bipolar disorder and it was never diagnosed that is where the trouble came from and gave her the ups and downs and unfortunately it got the best of her and she took her own life. Having this problem and drinking led her to start using cocaine at times and it simply became a recipe for disaster. I am not denying the "she was gay" comment below but I am responding as to why this wonderful talent and bright light took her life the troubles came from an undiagnosed bipolar disorder. .
I know she suffered from bipolar you can see the symptoms here. She’s very unsure and up and down in one instance. I wish she’d gotten the help she needed and not self medicated
