It sure is handy to have a vehicle that accommodates roof racks like that. I bought a 40" X 50" roof cargo basket for my Geo Tracker, which was only mountable on top of of those heavy duty crossbars. To make a long story short, I fabricated 4 alum plates and angle brackets with 16 rivet nuts into my roof, some came right through the interior head liner. The good thing is.. I can safely hold a 12' boat above the cargo basket. Most people wont drill holes in their roofs. Those racks are perfect. Thanks for the review.
I got the racks originally to get either a basket or a container and I also wanted to get some Kayak mounts and get a Kayak. I wanted to get one before my birthday trip but might be holding off for the moment. I have been having some issues with my arm for a month now with a lot of pain just picking stuff up so I can only imagine trying to row. I am driving to California to visit my oldest daughter in a couple of months and will get the basket or container before that time.
@@Jakereviewsall Sorry to hear about the arm.. better know what it is b4 you leave. Ya, my Tracker has nowhere/no how to mount a roof rack. So I custom made something . I like that roof rack tho. Cheers!
@@renegademind1833 all good, I think I injured it somehow during moving. Might just have to rent a boat with a motor for now. Next project is getting a hitch installed so I can get a boat eventually.
@@Jakereviewsall Thanks for this information! I am looking for this product for a new 2023 Kia Seltos. I want an affordable, economical way to get the look of having the crossbars on my car without having to pay the astronomical price charged by the manufacturer!
@@klsyoutube007 You will need a different one though, this states its for 2015-2018. I had a 2016 when I made this video, I still have the racks but not the Kia.

@@klsyoutube007 That is definitely true, I have a new 2022 F150 powerboost and the dealer wants insane prices for any of the mods or accessories I want for it so I am slowly hunting down different ones on Amazon for much cheaper and doing it myself. When I purchased these racks for that kia I remember the Kia dealer wanting something like 300-400 if I remember correctly for their racks which is why I went with these.

Do these fit a 2022 sorento without drilling g holes? Are they adjustable?

When I pull up my order I paid $140 and some change, right now its listed for $104 plus a 20% off coupon so its much cheaper than I paid back then.

yup, still using them but right now they are just idle on top of my car. I took a 2500 mile road trip in November with them.
