Hey I found on a different channel a cheaper way to tame a maywing So basically make 2 billboards and place one on it getting its head stuck and then put one behind it so it can't escape I bet its cheaper than making a net
2:05 if the shadowmane keeps waking up, use a ghillie suit. You can also use the netgun on them, it forces them to go to sleep and not move around (back away from them)

I'v done the same races a few times but i only got the requirement for the stryder the first time i did a mission. Maybe i am doing something wrong or im just INT 1 but it doenst seem to let you do the same missions to fill the requirements sadly :(

If you want an early game maewing get 3 bill boards and rare flower kill all creatures in area around Mae wing including passive creatures. Make an L shape with the bill boards wait till the maewing walks on the inside of the billboards. Go to outside corner and eat the rare flower it will rage at you trapping itself in the corner. Once the effect wears off run round the back of it and place the last billboard to make a triangle. It can't fly away or escape so tranq it out and your done

Just something to note for you, this map is devoid of bee spawns in official. It's stated on the fan site and they likely heard it from the dev team. I'm a bit of a bee fanatic so when I heard this I was debating not going. To my knowledge there is only one way to get bee honey on this map and it's drops. There are no bees
Don't know if this is true or tested, but according to the awesome spyglass hud you can also use Extraordinary Kibble on the Shadowmanes as opposed to the fish baskets. Will probably try and test it on them with a full ghillie suit so they won't wake up.
Ok, for the shadowmane, what did you do to keep it from aggroing on you after you fed it? I've been at it since launch and can't get them to not attack me.

I've not seen a single bee hive on the server I play on, in fact have a SS transmitter and no queen bees show up at all on the map, have WC screwed bee hives up again? wouldn't surprise me

Important maewing fact: apperently the maewing will lay a different variety of eggs depending on its diet on genesis 2 I found a regular maewing egg but when I was on island my maewing layed a simple maewing egg. My theory is maewings aswell as being a good feeding supply for baby tame will also be the best kibble farm tame aswell by laying a variety of egg types.
@@youtubecommenter_ is it always giving the same egg? There are tons of sheep around, you might try using mutton on one and see if you get a better egg. Either feeding or taming and let me know, I'd really appreciate it!

Ok so as one is flying around in creative mood no tek chest on, hlna put away. What is the tek sounding noise made sometimes when you move and fly. Is this an ambient noise of the ship?
This was so difficult, oh and your giga end was hilarious. I don't know why but my spawns are low in number, I can't find Shadowmanes, I have no fish, it took all day yesterday to get my 4
Do the shadow manes turn completely invisible for other players when you tame them? The wild ones are almost 100% invisible but the tamed ones I spawned in have a shimmer like a rock drake from my perspective
Maewing is SUPER easy to knockdown. It is a herbivore so it takes a but longer but man does it go down easy once you net it. So happy my friend and I were able to get some. Also has anyone noticed absolutely ridiculous loot crates on Gen2 because I usually play with buffed rates but I nerfed them and they are still super good. Not as good but still leagues better than other maps.

2x2 trap with hatch floor so you can tame from underneath safely

Noglins will also rarely spawn in the outskirts of Rockwell's innards. While inside his Garden.

Quick tip if anyone didn’t know about the astrodelphis, if u have a tek skiff u can use the gravity beam to hold it and tame it while it’s grabbed.

Not a thing bud. I was in gcm but no other commands were used so it should have aggro'd on me if it wanted to...

With shadowmane .. you NEED to use ghillie ... or it is extremely recommended.. also you need to feed it from behind not from front

Noglins do also, very rarely p, spawn in the Rockwell’s garden tek trench. It is much easier to find them in the innards tho.

Interesting, mine is laying superior eggs. I wonder if it's a reflection of the food u used to tame it. I used mutton on mine

@@Raasclark did a level 20 1.8 then did a level 80 1.0 taming went up 20 for the 1.8 and 17.6 for the 1.0

Yup took me 3/4 shots with a prim crossbow. Low lvl tho
They are actually omnivores, mutton makes a really easy high level tame.
