Seeing you adjust your project as you go along- from changing the rock when you considered Toothless's expression, to then add fish as the point of interest for the dragon, to then change the base of the water when it wasn't up to your standards, to then change from fish to frog... I am so glad to see you explain your decision process step by step and making the sculpture cooler and more beautiful with each change! This was really impressive, thank you for sharing!
@elisabethbanber4689 knowing Adam, it's equally likely that the decisions went as explained as it is that the explanations were made up later and it's the result of Adam spinning a wheel...not that I'm complaining it ended up looking great either way
when this movie came out, I had a green-eyed black cat named Mozart (MoMo for short). the similarities of Toothless's face & eye expressions and those of my cat were eerily close, enough for me to believe they modeled the dragon off of a cat, mine specifically. it also led to Toothless being referred to as "the MoMo dragon" by my family. thanks for another great video Adam!
I'm not done the video yet but I took a peak at the comments and no one has mentioned Adam's glorious commentary. I am seriously impressed with your word play during the enclawing process. That must have taken so many takes to get right and so damn fluid! I applaud you good sir!

It turned out beautifully!! Toothless, of course, looks absolutely amazing. But all the little details are fantastic-from the scale texture to the foil + liquid clay wings to the water and lily pads to the walnut veneer. I especially love that Toothless ended up observing a frog-that feels very true to his character! And such a cute frog, too. 😂 Really enjoyed watching how you pivot when things aren’t working out until you arrive at a solution.

I saw it on TikTok, and boy, what an experience! I love how you show the unexpected fails and make them work. Like, everyone needs to know that the creative process isn't a straight line of well-succeeded choices.
I have little and less to say about the eldrich horror you have been doing for some time, but this I feel warrants more attention. First off, this is a wonderful little scene as a whole. Probably one of the first show’s that I ever watched, How to Train Your Dragon was always my favorite show and movie series ever and I deeply thank you for making a model of Toothless even if it was created with a lie at the beginning of the video
Toothless is always a popular form, especially amongst the former children who watched the movie when it first came out. I also enjoyed the movie and Toothless was easy to like because they gave him his Cat-like inquisitiveness and lovable character. to hear that the animator gave toothless his movements and behavior from his cat, everything falls into place and it becomes obvious why I liked the dragon so much! excellent work and keep up the good work!!!
Honestly, this little change of pace from what you usually do with sculpting was surprisingly refreshing and such a nice breath of fresh air from what you usually create. Please incorporate more of these non-abomination sculpting vids with your abomination sculpting videos.

How to Train Your Dragon is my favorite movie. I have toothless tattooed on my arm, and have all three movie posters hanging in my bedroom. Yes I am obsessed. I LOVED this. It came out so well.
Toothless is love. Toothless is life. The only "realistic" version of Toothless I can ever accept is one like the Pikachu you did a while back, which was literally realistic, as in looking like an animal! (ok, ngl, I could get behind an eldritch rendition of my bebbi) But love that you did it this way. The serenity and beauty in the piece are amazing!
This turned out really well, I think the foily texture really worked for the wings because the little bit of texture sort of looks like veins and I'm always concerned when you do resin pours but this one looked really good
I'm happy you whent for the frog, instead of the fish, I think it makes this scene so much cuter and sounds more like a Toothless thing. What might have made it better is if the frog was starting back. 😊

Fr, but it still look good
Btw sometimes his eyes look yellow
this sculpture may be my favorite out of all the numberous sculptures you've made yet, keep it a going!
This is SO CUTE, I love it! I love your usual spooky, weird, 'realistic' art, but I love this just as much too! He looks perfect. His pose is so natural, and his wings look amazing!
“Oh wow, he made it accurate with the tail fin!”
“Wait, what colour did he say the eyes are?”
9:21 black cat bird
Big too
i watch your videos while i eat and sleep
the highest praise one can get
I have been watching Adams videos for years and have been waiting for so long to see him make Toothless and i was not disappointed! I love this cute little diorama and would pay money to have such a scultpure in my bedroom. The teeny tiny frog is soo cuteee it matches Toothless so weeelllll
I think this is one of my favorite project Adam has made yet and, while I do love the horrifying creations, the really nicely detailed and amazing dioramas will always have a special place in my heart!
0:46 i don’t know why but i thought you were like 24-26
He's a married man
You can be married at that age. I got married at 20...
@@MarvKage how do you know he is married? Are you his wife
@@Mac_likes_soup I wish😹😹
No.
He said something along those lines in one of his more recent videos. His words were her being something like a roommate, but tone and context suggested something more. I forgot what video that was but I'm open to correction on this
@@MarvKage lol
Your modesty makes this amazing video even much special.
YOU MUST LIVE IN EDINBURGH! Cobbles and dragons are a perfect combo, but seriously I LOVE THIS!
North of a different border, I think
@@DanatronOne You think so? I always thought he was from Scotland.
@@a.r.9357i may be misreading your sarcasm, but his channel icon is literally based on the canadian maple flag
@@ArmundJayNo sarcasm, I was convinced he was from Scotland. But now that you mentioned the icon I got curious and I googled it. It seems he is Canadian, but based in Scotland. So he's north of two different borders and we were both kind of right and kind of wrong 😅
@ well in that case, if he is from Edi then I hope to run into him in Ancient Robot and paint some tiny nerdy things together
TOOTHLESS!!! ❤
Great content, and your humility is what elevates it. Keep up!
i love how it turned out😍, it looks just like him with the Wonder and curious in his eyes 💫as Toothless normally does, it's probably my favorite project you've done ❤🐉.well done 👍
How to Train Your Dragon is my favorite movie. I have toothless tattooed on my arm, and have all three movie posters hanging in my bedroom. Yes I am obsessed. I LOVED this. It came out so well.
First, I love your channel and I’ve been watching it since the beginning
I LOVE HTTYD THANK YOU 💖💖💖💖
I can tell
it kinda.... looks like carp 11:13
Underrated comment
Toothless is love. Toothless is life.
The only "realistic" version of Toothless I can ever accept is one like the Pikachu you did a while back, which was literally realistic, as in looking like an animal! (ok, ngl, I could get behind an eldritch rendition of my bebbi)
But love that you did it this way. The serenity and beauty in the piece are amazing!
I paint a lot of minifigs for dnd. I use black primer for everything, regardless of how light the final mini ends up haha.
How dare TH-cam keep this from me for 2 minutes
Damn this brings back memories
(edit: would you believe this is the most likes I've gotten on a comment?)

Words cannot express how much I adore this! Amazing job with the wings as well, it simply looks incredible 👏👏👏
This turned out really well, I think the foily texture really worked for the wings because the little bit of texture sort of looks like veins and I'm always concerned when you do resin pours but this one looked really good
i will do nothing for every like this comment gets.
20 nothings is insane
13:30 hi guys! How it’s your day fellow TH-cam watcher?
Not good, but thanks for asking, you?
WE NEED A GIANT BANANA PEELING A HUMAN LIKE A BANANA
YES!
I'm happy you whent for the frog, instead of the fish, I think it makes this scene so much cuter and sounds more like a Toothless thing. What might have made it better is if the frog was starting back. 😊
It came out perfect! Thank you for honing your skills and showing us these beautiful works of art! 😊
