I like the idea of all colors being usefull though it would be nice if it made a bit more sense. For example white giving resources and green giving structures etc. It kinda looks like they give just randomized everything

Honestly I like how it’s a bit of a variety in each and it probably makes the most sense to implement it this way since you only get one color drop per day due to the colors significance to what resources are in the lunar area. I’d be pretty annoyed if I wanted to drop hunt and was stuck with getting trash from white drops the entire time. Especially since I’m on unofficial and the days are twice as long. This way you know you can still get something useful.
once you got a stryder with bags + drill, you can basically spend your day either in space farming ressources, or farming drops all day long, depending on the color and your current needs (let's face it, nobody doing drop on elements day !)
The colors are for a purpose, the color reflects what resource is out in the void. Ex. Green=Crystal Purple=Element I'm on official, color is random (so is loot in drops), I got Purple 2x within an hour or so from eachother.
Loot on this map is honestly OP. I found an Ascendant Tek Bow in the 2nd drop i opened which also happened to be purple so i went out to space and farmed a bunch of shards and honestly it kind of broke my game. For reference it takes me one shot to KO a max level 150 Maewing with this thing. I also had a chem bench before i was even a high enough level to make the generator to power it 😂
I’m not going onto genesis 2 until I’ve completed the other story maps for this very reason, I do think the red drops should be like this on the island and other maps though. Instead of giving bloody glass flask and crop plot blueprints they should only be able to give you certain engrams above the level required to open said beacon.

@@TheGayling2 Yeah that’s the plan anyways, plus I’ve seen people like phlinger phoo go on genesis 2 and get industrial furnaces and ascendant tek bows that can knock out 150 thylas in like 3 hits from the drops so definitely very OP and worth leaving for being the last story map. Just need to wait for wildcard to fix the primitive loot crates on the other maps so I can actually complete them.

Alpha bosses are pretty much impossible without at the very least decent saddles. I haven't actually played any other map since gen 2 released and i won't be until the loot is fixed.
I got an ascendant tek bow from a cyan drop, the tek bow isn't even a tekgram, you can just pick it up and use it. This loot is busted. I almost feel bad collecting these loot crates because they're literally free, they don't even have a level requirement, you can get ascendant gear on day one

For me the cyan was best when i was lootin, i got a 300% longneck bp some saddles including a 130 pt saddle and i got a tek forcefield. And all of that plus more in like 45 mins on small tribes
@@TDogsYard Yeah so essentially whenever you open up a loot beacon the island or any other map that isn’t genesis 2 you will only get primitive tier gear/bps. No matter what colour the drop is, red, purple, yellow you will only be able to get primitive gear. Alpha dino’s still give pretty good gear but then you have to find them as they’re not marked by a giant pillar of light going into the sky. Hopefully WC fix this soon but if not then you may have to visit genesis 2 for a while.
I've spent most of the 10 hours so far in the new DLC drop hopping around the map. My conclusion is go to all of them, pick them up. Seeing an industrial grinder, mining drill, chainsaw, and cryofridge in the video has given me enough motivation to continue to pick these up. I have not seen a lot of this tek stuff outside of the weapons and basic structures yet, but i will say I have quite a bit of stuff to grind down once I get my stuff setup for the industrial grinder. Something to note from the video and what I have seen is that there is no ammo in these drops.

Guys. Stop hating on random loot. You can grind all of that. I kept every item I got from drops since I started my adventure on gen 2 and when I finally made a grinder (never found one) I gave me more metal and polymer than it took to make the damn thing. Keeping all this loot is soooooo worth it in the end
I really hope you will be doing more tests on mutagen. I found out that yellow dot means that "wild" stats were upgraded which means those could be transferred to creature's offsprings and green dot means that upgrades went into "player added" stats. However I can't understand how the game decides between "green" and "yellow" mutations
While there are surely supply drops that are better than others, they are all versatile and different from each other. One will give a lot of high lvl giga saddles while an another one will give more riot than anything. For example, someone playing Gen 2 might think white one is the best while someone else will see yellow as the best. Great video keep up the great work and congratulations on 33,4 k subs. You deserve them ;)

It seems that the carnoflora seed was planned to be growable but at some point they must have scrapped it but forgot to take the seed out of the loot table... My tribe got one but it won't even let us place the seed in any crop plot
@@kattomate you are probably thinking of the four meat tentacles Which are only growable in tek plots, I was refering to the carnivorous plant you can sometimes find in the Rockwell biome, which isn't growable but was clearly intended to at some point in development
Another amazing video from raas! I found i got better stuff from the orange? Idk but i feel like its RNG based really. But this was a cool experiment it did definitely pay off! Also those damn loot drops with the rock drake saddles are taunting us over the fact they aren't even tameable on this map...that hurts man lol

The amount of gacha saddles that has dropped so far on gen2... Is way too high! But way more that has dropped were hilarious gear that I can't even spawn via console with 1500 quality parameter. Stuff like 660% axe bps, 750% Tek Bows, and something I never thought I would see: an ascendant 150% tek grenade launcher bp.
Other maps: our drops suck to make the game hard! Gen2: wait you want element, here have some, not enough HAVE MORE LIL B. OH AND YOU HAVE A NEW GIGA HAAAAAAAAAAAVE SADDLES. Basically the devs on crack or something intense
Pulled all types of 124 saddle bps. From what I’ve seen you get the best loot from Cyan and Purple drops. I think possibly because there is Ele dust with Cyan and Element and shards with Purple. Either way I have gotten ridiculous loot from all. Seems the stuff I really want with Cyan and Purple.
I'm starting to think that Gen 2 is so overpowered so they don't have to worry about people having stuff built up when Ark 2 comes out. Like seriously, everything is so op on this map it is the only reason I can think of. Way easier to raid and destroy everything now
One of the best parts of all of these drops, there's no strikemark icons om them... they're all grindable :) I swear the only resource that is hard to get on Gen2 is the new mutagen

Ive gotten 3 ascendant giga saddles. 2 from cyan 1 from yellow. Honestly the loot is a little op since ive only opened around 15 loot crates and have gotten egg incubators tek bow tek pistol ascendant rex giga and spino saddles. I have my loot settings the same as official.
White and purple seem to be the best. But don't discount the other drops if you are new to the map or having to switch servers without being able to upload your character. There are lots of valuables like, indy forge, grinder, chem bench, etc...
We are playing on xbox official 1x pvp, and found farming resources normally took longer than just flying around getting drops and grinding all the stuff 😂

Tek gen and tek transmitter is the best I've received i also heard you can get the tek replicator aswell

I've noticed that I get different loot on the Rockwell side than I do on the Eden side. That might be something to look into as well.

White and purple seem to be the best. But don't discount the other drops if you are new to the map or having to switch servers without being able to upload your character. There are lots of valuables like, indy forge, grinder, chem bench, etc...
As shown in the intro, supply crates now make Stryders float.

We are playing on xbox official 1x pvp, and found farming resources normally took longer than just flying around getting drops and grinding all the stuff 😂
Remember the drops inn Rockwell’s garden are all ways better
