Hello guys thanks to all of you! I have learned a lot through the valuable information you put in. I was really caught by surprise to see plenty of this fish. I will consider all your suggestions and thank you so much. We are too close to 1m subs and it's really a milestone for me because we started from zero. A million thanks to all of you. God bless you all!
I suggest placing a net below the pond so it is very easy to harvest and to check the fish if there are some predator fish that was able to get into the pond. You just need to raise the net for check and putting it back down below if done on checking. I suggest dividing the net into 3 or 4 sections so it is not that hard to lift and check
You are a true community man, helping less fortunate families, so proud of you. Love all your videos! May you continue to receive Gods continued blessings! Thanks for always sharing!
Pwd din nmn sir dexter na maglagay lng ng net dun sa parteng mag iipon ipon ang isda, hbng bumababa ang tubig, sa gayun nd kna gagamit pa ng malaking net.. Ingat po n godbless po.
Hello sir Dexter, I have an idea you should try for the pond. I think you should try to put a net covering the whole pond but IN THE WATER. So when you harvest the fish you could just lift the net up & catch all the fish. So you don't need to go in the mud & burry any fish. You can just medium size stones to hold the net down in the pond I think. I think you should try this at 1 pond & see how it goes. Keep up the good work sorry Dexter.
The mud ponds are amazing and really has added to your breeding program!! An arowana WOW!😁❤️ I have been watching, even though I don't get a chance to comment as often.,.you know how much I love you, your farm and everyone here in Dexter's world!! You are absolutely right on water changes, no matter what kind of aquarium, Pond or anything you're keeping... there should be some fresh water coming in! Thank you for sharing your experience and your recommendations!! I love watching you all working in the mud ponds and harvesting the beautiful fish... It makes me wish I was there to help ❤️ Farm is thiving and all the beautiful life so wonderful! Keep up the great work!! Much love to you Dexter and everyone here!! God Bless🙏❤️🌿🐟🌿💚
hi sir dexter may I suggest you to put net under the pond so that it would be easy to harvest and monster fish may not go through the ornamental fishes it is like a protection under the pond from predators yours truly and a fan jerome fernandez of lagawe ifugao
15:25 yes you need few fish nets( or bigger aquarium nets), so in the pound with low water you can harvest fast, and you can remove water faster and put only fish.
OverCrowding. Not overGrowding. Minor typo in video. Please continue with such informative sharing videos, it is of much educational value in future. Thanks Dexter's World.
If you grow some aquatic plants in there, they will clean the water and you won't need to change the water so much. You could also channel the water to grow aquaponic plants or float baskets on the water and grow veggies there.
Ive seen ponds using nets, and just pull the net up during harvest. And this prevents predators from eating the fish. .i think you should try it, but this denies the koi from grazing the ground and sides of the pond for food.
Congratulations po Sir Dex for the bountiful harvest! The Fish Farm Expansion Dream is turning into a reality! Avid fan from Tacloban since the beginning. 😍❤🐟
I sent you the last three comments I raised koi and goldfish in mud ponds just like yours. The 5-foot casting net was the absolute best thing I ever used to clear my ponds out. Then I drain them to get the few remaining fish out
Hi Dexter we have been watching your channel for sometimes now, this video is truly inspiring and may you reach the 1million subscriber milestone very very soon! Happy ponding!
Sir Dexter, i know you'll improve and innovate harvesting your mud ponds. "sikpaw" is a hiligaynon term for a bigger version of our aquarium fish nets only with bigger "eye" kanang net nga gigamit. I am confident you'll find the best way to do it. Keep on inspiring all of us.
Hi Brother Dexter, a blessed day! what a great blessing that you are harvesting that much! From your fowls to the livestock it's really amazing how they multiply.. Keep the faith! God is good all the time! stay safe always! GOD BLESS!
Quick suggestion, add a bubbler or an aerator to the pond so the fish can always have plenty of oxygen in the water. Great job!! The waste water from the pond is actually great fertilizer for all plants.
Nice dexter..it would be more easier to harvest if you did not drain the water..use net first to harvest the fish..it would lessen the stress of the fishes..would also lessen the work for people harvesting..you can't really harvest 100% of the fishes but it would also lessen fish deaths..and it would not require to fill the mud pond with water again..more power and godbless..
idol dex louy kaayo imong isda during harvest, i improve seguro gamay ang pamaagi sa pag kuha sa isda sa mud idol dex, pwede net nalang gamiton nga naay rod kada side and ang unahan nga side naay mga tingga or pabug-at sama sa pukot, para dili kaayo bun-og ang isda, so far so good idol dex bibo tan awon! TARPON na imong nakuha nga isda idol dex predator na even sa among bangus fishpond before BuwanBuwan o BulanBulan ang tawag ana sa Visaya kusog na mo kaon og isda nga gagmay idol Dex.
Dex i know that it's a mud pond, but perhaps a more solid ground upon which to stand would make harvest time much easier and certainly quicker. If solid ground is too costly then perhaps netting along the bottom which can be raised at harvest time is an alternative to consider :)
congratulations dexter i always love watching your videos makes a bad day happy i loved you running with the fish made my day i was just as excited as you to see how the fish grew in the mud pund nice vids man keep up the great work ❤💯
You should use fish pen by means of fish nets you will get the fish no need to pump out the water from the pond all you have to do is raise the fish net.
G’day Dexter, I wonder if you tried making the ponds wider with a gradual decline instead of a steep drop off it might make harvesting easier as you could drag the net without getting bogged down in the mud.
I suggest placing a net below the pond so it is very easy to harvest and to check the fish if there are some predator fish that was able to get into the pond. You just need to raise the net for check and putting it back down below if done on checking. I suggest dividing the net into 3 or 4 sections so it is not that hard to lift and check
nets are only used for Fish that can be eaten. For these kinds of fish, you really need to catch them by hand so their scales/ skin would not be scratched. Else, you wont be able to sell them for a good price in the market.

Lupet sir..dami...wow na wow..
Sir Dex how about you put a large net at the bottom of mud pond so everytime you harvest you will just pull the net up.
i think it would end up getting burried under the mud
Pwd din nmn sir dexter na maglagay lng ng net dun sa parteng mag iipon ipon ang isda, hbng bumababa ang tubig, sa gayun nd kna gagamit pa ng malaking net.. Ingat po n godbless po.

I'm watching and wondering if these guys ever heard of something called net? 😁
