Unfortunately, Yamaha sticks to the principle of "what is good should be left as it is". I started with a psr9000, then a Tyros 1 and then a Tyros 2. There was almost no difference in sound between the 2 Tyros keyboards, only the technology was improved. And you now have the same with the Genos 1 and Genos 2, the sound is almost the same, only the technology has been improved, for example the new Reverb and the added FM sounds and the number of styles has been increased. I have had a Korg Pa4x Musikant 76 for a few years now, but I regret that now. The technology is too complex, and out of the box this keyboard sounds very dry. So you have to adjust a lot before you can start playing. By the way, this is the first keyboard I bought without first playing it in a store, I will never do that again. Playing and listening in a store yourself is the best way to make a good choice. I think the Ketron Event is a beautiful keyboard with beautiful authentic Sounds and Styles, the disadvantage of this keyboard at the moment is that there are still too many problems with the entire system, fortunately it is being worked on but for as much money as this keyboard costs, this should never have happened. In my opinion, the Ketron Event keyboard was released too early purely to be ahead of the competitors Yamaha and Korg. Thanks for all the work and time you put into it, to give people an idea of this and all other keyboards!👍🙂
Hello! Yamaha rhythms are not built from the bottom, which gives the foundation, but the other way around! Bass and drums form the basis, but the basic bass is unnatural, the bass doesn't sound like that in a live performance! There is no basis! The rest is exaggerated! Acoustic guitars sound more artificial! Progress in sound is not great from Tyros 1!
Obwohl ich selber lange Zeit mit Yamaha Keyboards gespielt habe, kann ich mit den Sound nichts mehr anfangen.
Hy sir!! You can convert styl genos from roland bk? I am ea7 and its compatibile with bk thankyou verry much
Hello, I'm sorry, but I can't convert styles.
Best regards. Roland
It wouldn't work well. Would be easier to use style assembly and to try to recreate your favorite Roland styles this way.

Unfortunately I have no means of comparison with Tyros or Genos1. My last Yamaha instrument was the PSR 6700 from the 90s....
