    Fantastic ideas! Thanks so much!
About your lantern with electric candle - take a thin piece of Styrofoam, cut to size of bottom rectangle, then trace and cut a hole for the candle to sit snugly in.
This secures the candle adequately, while also allowing easy access to turn candle off/on instead of gluing to the bottom.
Spray paint the foam whatever color or cover with material. Add rocks, etc to your design if not doing this for photos to be illuminated.

Can you please message me I lost my dad may 9 he passed while I was in surgery so now 8 weeks later my mom and my oldest sister that he live with have not done anything to plan or do anything. I pick up my dad’s ashes where he was cremated and drive 2 hrs to give my mom his ashes thinking that she could now plan something. I was not ver close to them growing up and just over the last 15 years tried to get close to him and my step mom but it’s been hard I loved him and know he loved me. Sorry so long but I threw it out there that we could have a celebration of life and my house and it took 5 days to respond back but I was thinking just family and a few close friends but she said yea to it but she want to invite his coworkers from 15 yrs ago and that the heat bothered her I live in Arizona and it’s so hot now. I don’t know these people and if they will bring kids with them when I offered I knew the kids that were coming and parents ( I have a pool big concern) where did you decide to have your dads ? Anything else I need to know I have only been to one celebration of life and memory I don’t remember a lot anything will be helpful please and thank you for w time. So sorry for your loss
