No wonder Bandog betted so much on Trigger losing at first. Here you have Count picking a SU-33, which whilst not the most modern jet is still reasonably competitive and servicable. Meanwhile hotshot down here picked a relic from the Vietnam War. A proven relic, but a relic nonetheless

Imagine if Trigger had never proven himself and been released from 444.
Sure, you could argue Sol Squadron and Mihaly would fight the drones. And sure, that could be true for most drones. But as has been proven by Wit, Hugin and Munin would eventually overwhelm Sol Squadron, and I can’t imagine Mihaly could fight two drones which are effectively clones of himself. Especially as he ages further.
If trigger was never released then they OSEA will lose the war. And things go haywire and the world would plunge into an all out world war not even trigger is enough if that happened with all the drones and all aces data completely downloaded into the net. It wil be like Skynet in terminator. Although I would like to have a scenario like that for Ace combat 8, and we aren't strictly restricted to two opposing country forces , it would the world vs ai. And I would wanna see cameos of old aces or a whole squadron consisting of different aces from all over the world as a team and you can pick which character ace you'll play
A year late, but add the fact that it's actually learning from Trigger, on the sky, while DOGFIGHTING him, and Mihaly's gonna have a lot of trouble if the drones decided to improve upon his already batshit insane maneuverablity.

So I've been listening to the chatter in 444 today after going back to the game. We all missed the fact that they were there to kill trigger. Lines like "we were meant to be done before the bombers here" and "I'm on the targets tail" when your locked onto. Skoll squadron was meant to kill you using the bombing to cover up the fact a drone killed Harling "escorts are down - why the hell are we even out here" eluded that not even all of the squadron had knowledge of the true purpose of their mission. Your also the only one to get 2 jets chasing you when the mission starts where as the rest will stick to flying in formation unless you stray too close. Its an interesting premise that's taken me over 40+ play throughs and several years to understand fully

This is not a hard mission. It's only difficult when flying an F-104 or MiG-21, or maybe an attack plane.
Mission ain't that hard tho if you played most of the games on ace before

If you want to beat this mission you should pick a good air to air plane then a good missile and when your in the mission press option to pause it will show you many options press flight option then flight control then change it from standard to expert because expert helps you do loops faster and barrel rolls and when a missile comes at you push the stick right-down and keep it for a couple of seconds like that on till the missles pass you what this does is makes the plane do an unstable barrel- roll so when you do that the missles will go pass bye and the standard is bad cuz it doesn't allow you to do barrel rolls and then for hitting targets don't you guns use missles and to get a lock on the target fly behind the plane around it there is a green square then you press triangle on the gamepad because it doesn't work with the joystick because if you press the triangle on the thrustmaster hotas 4 it will change the view so press the only triangle on the controller many times until then green things start closing and opening them when you get closer fire the missles and don't shoot down the enemy's only the enemy's that have (tgt) on it
It is after this cutscene that Avril Mead becomes the most hated character in Ace Combat 7

In PS days, Expert Controls were the only thing you can play with, and it stuck. Playing AC3 first in Expert Control, then never played AC game without Expert control.

I hate how u have to get framed to go into the next mission also i have a theory that it was one of the f18’s becuase when harling dies just before he dies on the radar there’s an ally and the missile didnt come from u so it came from probably the f19
That was R-27 or AA-10 Alamo SAAM but i didnt think that would be suited for MiG-21 in Game but In real life MiG-21 didn't suites on it

Any tips for Mission 15 Battle for Farbanti using guns only. Just not enough time to reach score limit! Always a thousand short 😓
You should try the Mig 21 with machine gun pods, i did almost the whole campaign with it using the mgp, in my opinion the most difficult part is to try to shot down mihaly at the end of the mission, it'll probably take some time but you can do it
@@antoniosouzajunior6464 pretty sure MGP's void the medal for the full campaign guns only. There can't be any use of missile or special regardless if it's gun pods. If I'm wrong please someone confirm this because till now I've done pretty well with just guns.

Last I checked they are still considered acceptable in gun-only bonus every debrief.
I am still working on my Gun-Only Normal run. They can sweep ground targets a lot faster than bombs when done right with the right parts.

Your aircraft tree doesn't reset with each campaign. He also could have just replayed the mission from the "free mission" screen.

Well i used the mig 29 and beated the mission in a very short time f 14 f 16 f 104 dont use it with a mig 21 2 targets left

Bombers are priority. Evading missiles and killing all bombers asap. I did it in F-16 expert controls (I’m very familiar with controls for flying planes and helicopters so regular control mode was an absolute disaster for me.)
