First Pixel phone here! Pixel 9 Pro XL. Just love it! Quality feeling all over. Very nice cameras. Google gave extra 400€ off the price here in Finland so it really was a no brainer. Highly recommend!
You're right about the average consumer....I used to work at a phone store...Most peoples buying decisions are made based on Apple or Android after that its price and color choice....Most people simply don't care about internal specs
@@yCantiLogOn but thats not realism. Like when you look at odds and it’s 1:25. It’s not if you pick up 25 in a row one will have it. It’s 1 out of every 25. Thanks for the video, here in Belgium pixel is not really a thing yet. Some malls are beginning to sell them. After seeing most of your video’s im tempted to try a pixel phone. Really like your video’s each day im looking forward in seeing them. To the point, correct and with ur own opinion so consumers can judge for themselves.
My Pixel 7 pro was one of the worst phones I have had in the last 15 years, mainly due to poor cell signal . The Pixel 9 pro is one of the very best thou 👍

@@jevonsims900we will see from what I’ve seen Apple phones have been getting worse and with Apple adding ai I’m pretty Apple will have quite a few glitches for most of the 2024 and 2025
I have Pixel 9 Pro XL and Iphone 16 Pro Max too.. Iphone's touch responsiveness is so so bad and slow, like really it doesnt feel like I updated to a new model.. only plus side is camera for videos, which is my requirement as a content creator, else i love pixel 9 Pro XL as my daily driver❤
It might be anecdotal, but I've seen a lot of tiktoks of apple people get frustrated with apple and how their 13 pro is barely any different or not that impressive compared to the new iphones and they want to consider android. Usually the zflip or a pixel.
Google should do what apple does, and launch a renewd Pixel 3 every 3 years, like apple does with the Iphone SE. I say that because I've been using a pixel 3 for about 1 week, because I had to send my P8 for repair. and this things is so nice, it feels nice in the hand, the design is beautiful (white, 5,5 inch). It feels good in the hand, the screen is beautiful. And even though i've been using it like I normally use my pixel 8, It's not slow, the camera is descent (one camera is enough for me), actually I even feel that the selfie camera is better than my P8 for some reason.
I think they're trying to gear the 9a more towards the older models , hence no camera bar . I'd welcome a similar design to the pixel 2 or 3, even one camera
My 9 Pro XL is my favorite "Standard" Android phone; they've done a solid job this year. Too bad they slacked a bit on the camera/video though. :) It's good, but still lags behind my 16 Pro Max for video and point-and-shoot. :)
Its my daily driver right now...super smooth..no issues..can't tell the real difference Android 15 and 14. I'm definitely am way more used to my S24 Ultra but we towing along...
There are certainly things that Google does I don't like at all. For instance the US gets all the nice features first and the rest of us have to wait. An example of this is the thermometer, had it on my Pixel 8 Pro but not too much longer after I traded it in for the Pixel 9, they added measuring temperatures of people to it here in the UK. Having said that if one looks at the last four Pixel phones, you can't really say that it's same old same old. They do try different things with their design. The up shot is that every Pixel phone feels different and you don't feel like you are getting exactly the same phone as last year.
I think they will continue growing their slice of market share, and pixel is going to be a major major player. They deserve it. They make a great OS and now great hardware, too. Good for them. It only makes things better for us consumers. I dreamed of the day, back when I was obsessed with Nexus. Good for google. Safe trip back home!
From what I’ve seen on YT the pixel 8/9 have been decent phones. I’m an apple user but it’s good to know there are very decent options to change to if I ever do.
I have both an iPhone and a Pixel. I see that my annoyance with the Pixel is something no one talks about; advertising in the browser. On the iPhone, I can use adblocker, which makes my everyday life a little more pleasant. Had I been able to use adblocker in Google Chrome on the Pixsel, it would have been almost a dead race between the two phones.
The 9 Pro Fold looks really nice with that big outtr screen. I'm going to see what Samsung does with the Fold 7. If it doesn't get bigger I might have to make the switch. Although, the Samsung trade-ins are the best in the business and has kept me locked in for almost a decade now. OneUI is awesome.
I'm a tech enthusiast and I bought a pixel 9 pro. I really don't care about getting the fastest processor. They're all powerful just depends what you're doing and for me I browse the web and watch content when I'm bored.
I just upgraded to the Pixel 9 from the Pixel 7. I have used Pixels almost exclusively since the original Pixel and I have to say that the design and feel of the Pixel 9 has been the best one so far. When I first picked it up, I couldn't believe that this was a Pixel phone because it felt very premium. Also, the screen is bright and vibrant, battery has been great so far, camera quality is amazing, and performance with the Tensor G4 has been excellent. I'm excited to see what Google does with the Pixel 10 series considering that I think they did an amazing job with the Pixel 9 phones. Congratulations to Google on a job well done! 🤓
I have the iPhone 13 pro Max and I can't tell the difference between the new iPhone and the 13 pro Max. In my opinion, Apple has been deceiving their customer base for a while. 💯🤟🏽
I've used iPhones year after year since the original iPhone 2G up until the iPhone 16. I used the iPhone 15 Pro Max, then the S24 Ultra and switched to the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. I prefer the Pixel over both the iPhone but I do miss the convenience of the AirPod Pro 2's combined with Siri to send and reply to text messages. I hope Google will follow in Samsung's footsteps and make a "pro" level/larger watch.
Been a hardcore pixel user since the 3XL. Currently have a pixel fold that I need to transfer over to iPhone 15 Pro Max and of having one hell of a hard time getting the context, text messages, phone history and voicemails transferred over properly even using the move IOS app. Do you have a video on how to properly merge data from Android to iOS or recommend a video to watch? Once I get this done I'm trading in for a pixel 9 Pro XL.
I have a Samsung Fold, and I must say that the Pixel Fold phones look really nice outside of a few caveats. Firstly, I don't like the empty negative space to the side of the front screen, and the bezels of the front screen are thicker than that on the normal slab phones. Secondly, it has no pop-out window multi tasking which I use a lot for documents and the calculator, odd decision on such a large internal display too. Samsung won't give me what I want, which is a bigger front screen display, so I'm going to jump ship. I'll consider a Pixel Fold next year, hopefully fixing the listed above pain-points and even maybe throwing a bone like Qi2 magsafe and better cameras.
I've not been impressed with a pixel phone for many years. Samsung has always produced a better phone for me. I was using the S24 Ultra when it came out but it was just too big and bulky but to have a phone with the best specs that is what I wanted. I then convinced myself to sell it and get the smaller S24. The battery life was good and I was happy. Then the Pixel 9 pro came out. I got the carrier version from t Mobile. I put down $200 and traded in a S10e and got $500 for it. So I'm financing $300 for 2 years. This phone feels like it will last the 2 years and it has everything the XL offers and the battery life is great. I didn't game much but for general phone use I'm consistently getting 9 hours of screen time. I didn't get that on my Ultra when I had it
i think this new vivo X200 might shake things up a little if it gets to the US .... i was going to hold off till the pix 10 .. this is looking very good if global release
My Pixel 9 XL Pro is the first non-Samsung phone I've purchased in over a decade. I have no regrets. I think it's an excellent phone that doesn't have all the Samsung Bloatware and unnecessary customizations and other gimmicks.
I think you can do Gemini through an iPhone via the Google app can't you. After defaulting the assistant to Gemini in the Google app from the apple store

Same here. Plus I saw somebody at work with one , rather than the usual Samsung or Apple device . It felt so weird seeing somebody else with a pixel 😁
