I absolutely agree with you I have 16 pro and 24ultra and pixel flip 6 . The pixel 9pro XL has a lot to offer the music on the home screen how it just tells you what on is so sick . Everything just works . Camera is great I'm no photographer and my pics look great my iPhone family is like send me that because it looks better than there shots . Mkbhd did an interview and said he was using the s24 ultra so I went back to it for 3 days and I missed my pixel . Great vid/review.
Thats good to hear... I honestly lost hope in Pixel lineup. Had the 6 Pro, 7 Pro, 8 Pro and i just gave up. Bug after bug... With Bluetooth... The processing on the photos would take to long. I ended up going back to my S23 Ultra, and shortly I will be giving Apple a shot since 2013.

I followed the channel since the pixel 8 roughly around back end of last year and I bought my 1st pixel the 9 Pro XL. I like the way you don't go on about benchmarks and tell it how it is and don't come across as a fanboy like apple fanboys on YT. You speak like a normal bloke and convinced me to try a Pixel I came from my Huawei P30 Pro which still runs like a charm. Anyway stay true as normal older folk like me appreciate the every day user not the benchmark stuff best wishes from Ireland 👍 oh and I'm happy with the Pixel nice and clean feel and it doesn't seem that big considering it's an XL and my wife has the S24 Ultra which does feel awkward to hold.
I agree with you about all the changes in this generation of pixels. I used to have the pixel 7 pro and I loved it but the overheating thing made me change it for a samsung phone. Now I'm gonna jump from the flip 5 to the Pixel 9 XL.......I can't wait

After my first experience with both a P8P and P8 being bad/sub par, I'm happy I took another chance with the P9P. Only because I wanted flagship in smaller form. It's been pretty great so far and many gripes i've had aren't there or as prevalent. Long time Samsung Galaxy user, who still loves One UI and the customization and features, and I've been finding it hard to go back to my S24U. Previously had an S21 for 3 years which was great. Pixel feels solid this year.

The one thing I miss from my Samsung is routine option to turn on mobile data Bluetooth and location when in car

The big difference that remains between Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, & Apple phones is the Qualcomm X Modems. There is a reason why Apple & Samsung use X Modems.
Yeah because Samsung modem is junk just like Intel modem that Apple used for some carriers years ago. Qualcomm is the only one who knows what they are doing.
Pixel 9 modem is ready good.
Google is on the right path with the Pixel9PXL and it's going to be even better in the future. I just wish they could do a bit better in the portrait photography.
I totally agree with you Adam! Coming from someone who used to be an HTC fanboy (coz I used to work for the company 😂) to a Pixel OG all the way all the Pixel generations. It is indeed the best Pixel and most polished pixel ever!
I think my XL has been the perfect phone. I seriously don't have any complaints. I don't want to jinx it before Android 15 but it just works

Release the new phones in August before the iPhones in September 😂 with very stable Android software 😀 we can then look forward to the new Android release in October 😀.

Yeah, but that is a valid point to complain about. They aren't selling 700-800$ phones anymore, even samsung puts the more powerful chip in the ultra. Let people complain about the multi-billion$ companies or they will at some point really try to rip off the consumers

I wish they would bring back the option for notifications to be heard through your Bluetooth while using it and the phone, I don't always keep my Bluetooth on my head when I drive.
Great video man. I own the s24 ultra a z fold 6 and a pixel 9 pro XL and I must say that my pixel is my favorite overall for sure. It is so smooth with scrolling and with the UI that it's insane. I wish Samsung could get on this level of fluidity. Samsung just has that little judder every time you touch the screen to begin a scroll. It's not everywhere but it's mainly on Gmail and Facebook and stuff like that. But on the pixel it's completely perfect so I'm not sure what Samsung has going on. Pixel has definitely been my daily driver ever since the pixel 8 pro.(I'm so mad at Apple. I forgot to mention that I have a 15 pro Max as well)😂😂

I have a s24 plus. Shutter lag is real. The fact that Samsung keeps pushing Google Messenger is like they don't want your business. AI aside, would Pixel be a good switch from my Galaxy? I've used both before but overheating and signal reception kept me from staying with Google.

Pixel10 series would be great in terms of efficiency and raw power because the Tensor5 chipset would be built by the TSMC.

except for gemini which is about half of what the assistant can do before they pulled a siri and sequestered it onto the phone and made the assistant stupid....i have a p6p, a p8p, and a s24u. i will wait until the gemini is at least on par with the assistant..so the s24u is my daily driver for now...

I watched your great review on the Sony Xperia I VI and noticed that it uses the Tele lens for macro shooting. I understand the Pixel uses the wide lens. I want to be able to shoot macro from a distance which the Sony seems to do admirably. As near as I can gather you are better off using the Pixel Tele lens for that. Can you advise before I make my decision on which to buy? TYI Joel

Pixels are junk, recently I been having problems with randomly getting a ! symbol where the signal bar is on my Pixel 8 Pro. Tried resetting network settings and a new sim card and everything is up to date. Had the same issue on my 7 Pro after a few months. I'm going back to iPhone after this.
The 9 has a whole different modem and it has been flawless in my experience
