Awesome video bro. Im 38 been in construction 15 years hardcore construction. Finally got my barber license 4 months ago, this video was great cuz im scared to make the transition. I still work my job and eventually want to get into a shop but have been nervous too cuz im worried i wont make what i need at first
That’s amazing man, I am very happy that you decided to take the first step! In the beginning I wouldn’t completely leave your job that is providing for the family if you can’t. I completely understand that you have responsibilities to take care of. In the beginning I would really understand what is it that you “need”!! To spend on your monthly expenses. That way you know exactly what number you need to hit. Secondly I would find a barbershop you can work part time in and be able to start your momentum and just start growing! In the beginning it is going to be a lot of work man. You are going to have a full time gig and then another 15-20 hour gig outside of work but if you want to make that transition you just be willing to do it. Also make sure your join the right shop as well. The “busiest” shop isn’t always the best. But I will make a video on how to identify a “great” barbershop. Lastly man try to save up 3 months of living expenses that way you can really focus going all in on your new career! 100% believe in you man! You will kill it in this industry. Have so much more advice but can only type so much. Stay tuned in my videos. My biggest goal is to help all of you guys succeed !

It is different for everyone, depending on your school and state. But for me it was 15,000$ but their are grants you are able to take advantage of like fasfa and many other to help you make it more affordable

I would say do which ever is more comfortable for you first! If your friends and family are cool with you practicing take advantage of that! If not use your own head as a model that is what I dod

You don’t need a car. But you will need to find a way to get able to get there. There is always a way to make it happen, make sure to find the solution!
I personally was able to leave certain things there that way I didn’t have to bring them back and forth everyday
