Thanks for sharing some time with your dad with us all. I miss having my dad around to share my builds with. He didn't build any models, but he did build a table for me to put my HO race track on in the garage. Spent hours on end enjoying that track and my models that he would listen to me describing all the details of each kit I assembled. ❤
1964, at 17, I left school for a Texaco Mechanic job. "Grumpy Bill" Jenkins had discovered that Chevy had left exactly enough space and proper motor mount points to fit a 409 engine into a Chevy II Nova - and so he did. The Summers of '64 and '65 were filled with the burn outs on magazine covers that made Grumpy Bill as famous as his 409 Nova. I love the build and totally appreciate you sharing your craft with us. It's been a fun four years. Thanks, here's to four more.
I wish someone (preferably Mobius) would do a '63-'66 GMC or at least make the truck kit with optional Chevrolet grill and tailgate/GMC grill and tailgate.
Looking through your comments I forgot about it being April 1st. That explains it 😄. This build reminds me of the early 80's when I was modifying my '70 Monte Carlo. I used the same air filter, mine was an Edelbrock. It wasn't that attractive but it sure let that 350 breath good. I had a Summit catalog and 2 others I ordered from all the time. I never had those traction bars but seen them around a lot. Thanks for the memories.
Very nice build. Neat color choices. You did an excellent job with the assembly. The kit looks like it is well engineered. Everything looks good except for the issue with the tires. I really like the extra parts in the Moebius kits. Thanks for sharing.
Moebius-kits are very fine quality. I very like your version of this kit,sweet colours. Btw,this year of the Malibu looks a little bit of our German Opel Kadett B. The Chevy came years earlier,i know.
The traction bars are mounted in the wrong location. The rear portion should be right over the rear so the snubber (front) contacts the front spring eye. Sharp looking car and l know "build for you.
The one thing that could have made this kit a little better was having speaker grills in doors and in the rear package shelf. Just my opinion though. nice build though.
@@hpiguy I wish they would come out with 4 door version's once and a while, station wagons as well. If you're doing a diorama you want family type car's in there too. That would be great if they could do that.😉👍
I was up all night watching your videos. It's been a long time since I saw one. Do you prefer these models over the other brands? I like the F-250 snow plow build. I work for the city I live in and have to plow snow. I thought about buying that kit and making it like my towns plows back in the day.

If Mobius started producing Chevy trucks, I would be broke constantly. I already have all their Ford trucks. Really enjoy building them.

Very nicely done on the Nova! She came out very nice! I can relate to that Moebius tire issue as I've had that same thing with the Ford pickup kits!

I always cut the plastic nubs off the wheels when I go to mount the tires. That seems to work of for me.

The traction bars are too far forward. The end of the bar should be even with the front of the spring eye. Cool build.
