I remember playing alto sax in my St. Patrick HS (Chicago) high school dance band doing this same number (Brazil) with the same arrangement in the early ‘60s Discounted tuition we had 5 alto saxes in a 16 piece band. I was 5th alto. God … we tried. God liked us … we hoped. Not many others, though.
