⇢ Welcome to our TH-cam channel. We are Leigh and Nick, a married couple from the UK (Technically we are civil partner shipped but hey it's close enough)
Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures
Join us as we explore the UK, Florida, Disney and further afield aswell as spending time at the Lodge on our own, with family and with our friends

I love to travel, but like you Leigh, I get anxious, sometimes to the point of panic before we leave. I triple check the house, I panic about leaving family etc. once my case is in the car, I start to settle down and enjoy myself🤣
So excited for travel day and all the vacay videos...Hurry up, hurry up!! 😂😂
I put you two on while i was washing up, laughed all the way through, Thankyou, hope your having a brilliant time, never seen anyone actually show the editing process, not as easy as i thought, so Thankyou makes me appreciate what you both do even more xx
I really enjoyed you explaining your process of editing videos. It sounds so complicated it makes you really appreciate the end result even more.
Also I wanted to say your view of your apartment living room is stunning. Your mountain and the white and purple lights. Y’all have wonderful taste and the skill Nick has to put your vision into production. Bravo to you both.

As an anxious person and traveller I know you are right. Think of any journey as a bit at a time as an anxious mind thinks about the whole thing and panics and can't cope. We have a two day road trip to get to our holiday destination and I have to think about one day at a time
I always get nervous before a trip feel a lot of anxiety but have too get though it as when I get there I love it hope you are having a lovely holiday x
You do a great job with the music! Take me out to Californian has become of my favourite tracks after hearing it on your last road trip. Perfect vibe ❤
Getting to Newark EWR from Manhattan is easy. The cheapest way is the Newark Express bus which you can catch from Bryant Park or Port Authority Bus Terminal. You can also take the New Jersey Transit train from Penn Station. When I travel alone I choose one of those options as they are the cheapest. If I am with someone, a cab is the most convenient and you can split the cost, although still probably twice the cost of the bus.
Grandpa Greens looks lovely ! Might have to give it a try ! Even a menu for the dog (who was sent into a frenzy at your doorbell going off by the way lol).
OMG, you’re doorbell rang and my dogs lost their minds! They thought it was our doorbell! I did too for a minute. 😲🤣🤣🤣

You need to get yourselves a portable touchscreen monitor to use at the lodge .I have one myself it is a 15 inch that looks like a tablet with a kick stand .laptop needs to be touchscreen or it is just a standard monitor.
Great vlog. We went to Uppermill a few weeks ago and thought it was lovely. We had lunch in the Muse restaurant. Happy 50th Nick , it was mine 2 weeks ago 🎉xx

Love staying at the Raddison Blu - Shane they don’t include breakfast in the price but it’s a treat to stay there before a big holiday

💕 awww thanks. My mum died 2 years ago and I have so many videos and photos of her I’d like to put together a video to music but no clue how to do it. Just got a brand new IMac too😂. All the gear - no idea 🤣🤣🤣. Have a great time in the states. Xxx

We stayed in the Radisson Blu at Manchester it’s awesome, a short walk to the checkin desks all under cover! Looking forward to your USA vlogs!
OMG Take me back to my Childhood guys them Stepping Stones at Saddleworth my mum use to take me & My Sister there when we was kids, Now another Generation of Kids is being Amazed by them thanks for the memories, I've always wondered about your Editing looks more complicated than djing lol looking forward to New York see yah both soon

We’ve only flown into Newark once & we found it a ball ache to get into Manhattan, we much prefer to fly into JFK & get the Long Island Railroad straight into Penn Station but now if your staying midtown & you fly into JFK you can get a direct train to Grand Central which is so much easier than walking from Penn Station especially with all your luggage.

When I went to New York it was the day after the big black out. I was suppose to leave that day but. Work wouldn’t let me off. I was lucky I guess the airport was mess. It was my first time traveling by myself. When I got there I got on the wrong tram this was before good gps. Lucky I had phone and my friend did. Finally met up with her. We had lot fun.
When we hit Disney that's about the only time my wife and I share meals. As y'all know some of the portions can be huge depending upon where you are dining.

We share food in America all the time as so much food or we get a child’s meal and split that but we also share food here in the uk depending on where we are eating it’s true the older you get the less food you can eat to feel full

LEIGH - I love your editing skills! I was just going to post a comment on this next vlog asking for editing techniques and here you guys are mentioning it 🙂 I'm just starting as a Premier Pro user for our personal gal pal vacation videos and find using PP so fun. Nick's mention of a "Leigh Course" sounds very interesting... Can't wait to see the vlog of you guys in my backyard: Washington DC! Thanks for all you do!

It very true about the older you get the less you eat. We share our food too and especially more when we are traveling.
I’ve been thinking of moving to premier pro but not taken the plunge yet. Where do you get your music from? It is amazing how long it takes to edit a video, I can’t believe how quick you do it Leigh.

What a fun family time at the museum. Very interesting to see the editing process. I have been trying a little myself and it is time consuming. I am sure it goes faster once you become more familiar with the software. A question - once it is rendered and uploaded to TH-cam what do you do with the files? Archive somewhere? External drive? And how do you keep them organized?
We always get a bus from port authority to Newark , it’s cheap as chips ! When we go into manhattan from JFK, we get the train to penn station easy peasey ! I never stress when I travel , it must be the ex soldier in me , I treat it like an adventure! Newyork I treat like a military operation lol first time we did loads in the 4 days we were there.
I think we need some out takes guys ha ha I'm sure you have some good ones xxxx

I had a Pelham Puppet as a child. My first mobile phone my husband bought me was a Nokia.
It says Nick is 53 on his tee shirt,enjoyed the editing stuff ,when you watch Adam the Woo efforts you realize how much work you both put into it, The Woo has no intro or accompanying music it’s just raw footage
Editing and finding the right music takes hours. Filming is the easy part.
I had a Nokia 3310 🙈 I still have it with a few other old phones 🙈

Thank you for the insight into the editing of your vlogs. Unless you do it, you have no idea how much work is involved. Well done to both of you for what you do to share your lives and travels with us
I’m always impressed with the amount of work that it takes to put a video together for TH-cam. I wouldn’t know where to begin, and given how slow my computer has gotten, it would probably take me 12 hours to edit a 15 minute video - if I knew how to do it, which I don’t. So kudos to you for taking the time to make these vlogs as good as they are.

It takes a lot of work. Most people dont realise.
I’m sure you know this but the only way you’d be able to lose and maintain weight is through nutrition and exercise combined, especially being older (i’m in that category, haha).

Loved it and particularly liked the overview of editing . Right up my street , though it would take me ages as I’ve turned into a technophobe since leaving work . I’m now 60 . Just 10 more than nick . Happy birthday 🥳 hope you enjoy it all . It goes by quickly . 😱

did you go to JFK or Newark? I've flown into both. JFK cost me a fortune to get into Manhattan. Newark was easy as the train from there goes into Penn Station , which is in the centre of the city and was chip as chips
