Now this is what I'm talking about. Nice to see the entire family including kids putting up the tents. Very Impressive! Side note - like your hat and shirt too - GO MU Redhawks and THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY!! Much respect to the state of OHIO!
Thank you so much for this video. I am doing it solo and was curious of how the set up worked out. Your video was very helpful. And a Beautiful family as well. :)
Color me impressed. For someone who didn't read the instructions, you got them up quickly. We just purchased the 6 person tent and after seeing this I can't wait to use it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for posting this video. I spent an inordinate amount of wasted time aimlessly trying to figure out how to break my tent back down and put it away after foolishly allowing my kids to set it up for fun for the very first time, unsupervised. I would've been lost without this. Thank you so much!!
Megan Davis If you are referring to the rainfly, you just clip the little plastic C clamp onto the rod on a four corners. we didn't use it and I regretted it when the sun came up the next morning.
Yeah, they're both definitely able to be set up by one person. It'd require a bit of patience and extra time but it's doable. Actually the sixer would be easier than the four by yourself, imo. Breakdown was REALLY easy. I hate trying to restuff stuff into bags that seem to shrink during the trip. I did a pretty 1/2 arse job rolling it up and it still went in really easily.
Hello Mr.Carter, I just bought this tent, at least I think I did. the 6 person instant cabin/tent... thing. Says it has a 6'ish center height, which was the main feature I was looking for. I'm 6'1'' and was wondering if you think I would have enough room to stand?
I was skeptical at first too. It's all so thin that it just doesn't accumulate bulkiness I guess. The kids folded theirs (I had to help to do it correctly) and I had room to spare. I'll make an amended video.
Normally don't comment on videos, however, ur the ONLY ONE who's ever posted thus far on the 4 person tent. Many thnks and a quick question if u'd be kind Enuf to answer: Using this primarily at tha beach for my niece and mom. Seems sturdy enuf without the stakes. Ur opinion? Considering sand isn't going ta do much for the stakes. Lol. And u think rain fly will attach ok without stakes as well? Ur reply is greatly appreciated!!
Sorry for the delay. So, yeah we're planning on taking these to Ft. Walton Beach in Florida soon. I would say as long as the inside of the tent is weighted down sufficiently it'd be fine. I'm going to order these m.dickssportinggoods.com/p/quest-beach-auger-16queuqstbchgrxxxodr/16queuqstbchgrxxxodr?camp=CSE:DSG_pg17127_ecom_PLA_452&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtpDMBRC4ARIsADhz5O64mOOcZWQQ7fEqGQ_Vx_PVmhAzVPRtX4RkQE6Sz4a4wiWXJSIwkZIaAqNeEALw_wcB though just in case. If they end up not needed, I'm just going to return them 😉 Still loving these tents!
Thank you so much for posting this! Are you satisfied with the material that it is made of? Also I noticed the door is not very rigid, it just flaps around is that correct?
I just unboxed my Core 4 person tent and set it up in my living room. The material is thin and crinkly compared to the material used in the Gazelle popup tents. I bought this Core because the Gazelle T4 is 6.5 feet tall, and it's hard for me to get the rain fly on for solo trips when my husband isn't with me. You need one person pulling on each end to lock it into place. The Core rain fly is much easier for someone to apply alone. Overall, the Gazelle features much more thick and luxurious fabric. It's readily apparent to the eye and to the touch. I will probably still keep the Core. I'm still deciding.
The floor of the tent seems to be loud and crunchy. We usually camp in a group and wonder if it might be too loud for in the middle of the night bathroom breaks. Any thoughts?
I think that was my phone's microphone being sensitive. It does crunch, but I'd say no more than the Coleman tent these replaced. Also, when we used these camping, we stretched the bottom much tighter than we did in the video which made a difference.
Robert Hicks Definitely still recommend it. At risk of ruining it for everybody, this tent is WAY underpriced. Our previous tent was a Colman and I'd take this one over it every time. I thought the "storage accessories" we're hokey but they got used extensively. We hung this www.amazon.com/dp/B003SXLW7Q/ref=asc_df_B003SXLW7Q4875537/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B003SXLW7Q&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167119746601&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6857950169273314965&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9014888&hvtargid=pla-129535434726 from the ceiling. We only got out once with it last year but it was awesome to use. My niece (who shot the video) also used the four-person to camp with her college friends and loved it too. I'm surprised this tent isn't more well-known.
That's awesome Robb. I'll probably get both a 4 and 6 depending on whether it will be just me or wife and dogs. I'll snag the 6 while Costco has them. Thanks!
thanks guys! this is exactly why I was researching it. it's on Costco, the price is right, the reviews are great, and some people have said they've set it up easily by themselves. It will be just me and my 5 year old some weekends.
5 minutes, 2 tents, some stake follow up, well done. Thanks for the video, sold me on buying this tent.

Good job Mom and Dad! Thanks for the video, especially letting the audience see inside the tent!

Thanks very much for sharing this video! I am debating between the core six person and nine person. Your video is super helpful 🤗👍🏻
Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Very helpful.
Thanks for the video, that 6 person tent is a monster, cavernous!
Thanks for taking the time to fill the info gap on setting these tents up. Fun family project...next time you can race. ha
any leaks with the 6 person so far, thinking of buying for week trip in maine.
any update on the awesomeness of these tents?
Fun. Can 1 person pop up the 4 person tent?
just bought this tent! thanks for the detailed setup. I was wondering how the cover for the mesh came up.

Great video. My question is have you used it it a rainstorm yet and how well did it do?
Have not had to use it in a rainstorm yet but it's a solid friggin tent. I wouldnt think twice.

Easy
Thanks for sharing the experience. Very useful.

Any follow up comments (rain?) on the 6 person? It's on Costco for $129 and would be a great deal if you still can recommend it.
