We have one of these Coleman Pop Up tents and cannot recommend it highly enough. We used it just last weekend, and indeed EVERYTIME we use it I am amazed at how easy it is to put it up, and also how easy it is to take down. Ours was easily the largest tent in our group of two other families and our was the first one up even though we started after everyone else because we were inflating our two queen air mattresses. It was up in under five minutes. Easy to use, packs down very compactly and TONS of room inside. Love this tent.

Click the buttons on the legs and collapse them down into themselves. Point the the legs up towards the sky at the hinge. Wrap the attached bottom tarp around everything as you would any sleeping bag, tent, etc -- nice and tight and easily put into the carry case. I cannot stress enough how easy this thing is to use. My teenage boys had this tent broken down and put away in under five minutes.
I have had this tent for over 9 years and it is still easy to set up and take down. The bag for the tent had an extra zipper on the bottom to expand the bag making it easy to fit in the bag. I have a bad back and this requires very little effort.
The Coleman instant dome 6p is a piece of junk. On the third use the light duty cross bar connector broke. It is the most critical part of the tent and it is paper thin plastic junk. So needless to say today it is tied up to a tree branch to hold it up so I can use it. What a POS tent.
I've had mine for about 4 months. Love it. I once almost tried to force things while taking down, only to realize the mattress was still inside. Whoa! Stop!. That was a close one. "Know when to back off before things go pop!"
Don't Buy The RainFly!!!! Its not water proof per Coleman!! Here is the proof!! We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations regarding the rainfly and we would like to inform you as well that the Rainfly is not waterproof it is a water-resistant part that can only block a certain level of rain. Yes, the rainfly is separate. Only tent ever seen without without one. But still worth another $20.

You must have received a bad apple. We have had ours for going on 7 years and not one issue yet. Ours is the 14x10 8-person model.
