This car depreciates so quickly. There's 3 MY22s just sitting at my local Nissan dealer going for 15k less than RRP. Nissan failed the pricing, thinking these could compete against the Supra, and now they go for less than a CTR.
People in the comments forgot that the car is an racing platform not an daily driven car. He just made the video to see if it possible to daily drive it if you don’t care but the car is made to go on track, not to feel comfortable to be on road for 2 hours. Always people comparing Japanese car to bmw. Bmw is not an racing platform but an sport luxury car. The tuning potential of an bmw is very poor compared to those cars. In many racing competitions they don’t even win. The only german car that can hang is Porsche.
amazing review dude and personally i love the way it looks ins and out but everytime im reminded it only comes in an auto just makes me sad. wanted to own one of these but it would be better in a manual 100%
“he’d be crushing my eggs” 😂 appreciate your style of reviews, you do well at noticing and pointing out every aspect of the vehicles as if it were your own 👍
12:35 I don't agree with a lever for the seat back angle. The car I drive has fixed positions with a lever whilst the passat I used to drive had a crank which allowed for any angle you want. (but yeah for that amount of space to adjust the crank a lever would have been better)
Yea you're buying a car like this for its interior? I guess you don't understand the Z at all. Their goal was to make it both timeless and futuristic. What matters is how it feels and drives and it delivers in that regard
This should be no more than 60-63k. And i love the Z!!! That being said the seats should be a one time set and forget it unless you're sharing your car. Unfortunately we live in a time now that everything is overpriced. Civic type R is 45k. Integra types S 53k. The bmw supra seems like a bargain but that was the whole point of toyota not building their own supra and even it's 57k-60k
For 70k I'd rather a BMW with a B58 in it, way nicer inside, similar if not better performance, way better fuel economy, and it doesn't have a key from 2007
Fuel economy? You’ll get 39mpg from this car at 70mph steady. Fuel economy is directly related to how much air you are inputting. More air + fuel = more power. More compression gives better economy which the vr30 has.
This is off topic but I just watch you drive the 24 trd sport.. man looked like some spirated driving for a truck. What would you buy manual or auto? Nice driving brother
I don't fancy that interior. The screen and infotainment is a fingerprint magnet, due to the glossy black. The seats look not fun to sit in; I would rather choose the standard seats option, if given the choice. The rear view mirror just looks super old and not in a cool way, I hate it. I love the exterior, it's gorgeous.
I like this additional format v the old format … Dont know if I would eat while driving …i dont ,let any one even drink coffee in m y cars. BTW what’s your wives TH-cam channel.? On the fence , Q50 Red Sport or Z
th-cam.com/users/MobileMama Red Sport is obviously more practical, but the S (Nismo, at least) is so much better to drive. I had a Q40 (old G37) some years ago. Good car, but the steer-by-wire is nooot great.
G35 …. I went to a BMW sponsored event , they had one as a comparison vehicle to the BMW , Bimmer felt much heavier . My neighbor has one just sitting there , can’t wait to see the for sale sign on it .
The Nismo is HOTT, but way too expensive for what it’s offering when it needs aftermarket to be livened up. Well tuned coilovers + PS4S or Cup 2s + better brake cooling and pads + some weight shaved would make it pretty competitive performance wise. Otherwise completely hamstrung by that awful auto compared to the ZFs or the 10spds in some of the American cars.
Camaro SS 1le. 20K less but offers better performance, sound, passenger space, steering feel, handling, cargo space, Tremec 6 speed/10-speeed, and even same EPA. Did I mention it cost 20K less and handles better and weighs the same amount roughly?
@@meds-7923 not good quality gas. Look up something called the Top Tier rating. Has to do with detergents and cleanliness of the gas burn inside your engine to prevent deposits. It gets hard to follow along these days bc some gas stations don’t pay for the Top Tier sticker despite having Top Tier gas, but essentially you gotta go to Chevrons, Mobiles, Shells, and a few others for the best fuel, to keep your engine running clean for a long time.
I think it’s because the m3 can be put into AWD 20% front and 80% rear, and the Noemi is RWD only maybe that’s why, the Z and M3 have very similar weights with the Z only 100 pounds lighter
I have to disagree. It responded very well to being prodded. The only exception is when the brakes get hot. It would benefit from carbon ceramics or at least better braking ventilation.
To add to my previous comment saying these are my favorite videos you do: for the record, they still are my favorite car review videos on TH-cam
Thank you - I'm glad! More to come.
Wow, thanks for being one of like 2 people I have ever heard pronounce Nismo "properly" on TH-cam!
Still coming back to these videos for inspiration keep leading from the front 🫡

looks like hes having so much fun in that car
Nice ride! I have a white 370z and I agreed that Zs are good looking cars and fun to drive. Nismo Z is my next upgrade.
I love the looks of this car saving up for it I can’t wait

If they had better reliability scores, adaptive suspension, leather seats, and updated tech I might go for it.

Lots of Camrys, in my experience

I liked both transmissions - I'd got auto for the TRD Off-Road, personally. If the PreRunner, then manual.
They really missed a trick by not making it manual, for a reason that true drivers don’t really care about. What a shame.
Nobody talks about the base Z holding 400 horsepower for $37k. the NISMO for every z has been pricey.

Really nice car but not at that price point brand new. It'll be a great candidate for second hand depreciated sports car hunters 😂

The car will perform much better with Michelin pilot sport 4s. No doubt the gripper and better tire overall.

Would you say you get more attention in this car more so with at the very least with cars in the same price range?
I think the Supra gets a little more attention

Accelerating through a curve like that on a rwd car? You are asking to spin out. Hold the throttle light and steady, don’t ever give it punches.
