This game and video are masterpieces. Walking around the most famous shipwreck in all history before her sinking is exactly what I was looking for in a game. This is simply a work of art. If you just let yourself into the video it almost feels like you're right there, almost 112 years ago. She was truly a magnificent ship, the greatest of her era.
It's so heartbreaking to see all of this magnificent craftsmanship while at the same time knowing it's all at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean where it's been for over 100 years, I can only imagine what everyone would've went through on that horrific night, and I can imagine the devastation her builders and designers must've felt at the news of her sinking, all that intricate work and craftsmanship, gone forever! Thanks for putting this together, it's the only way we will get to walk the Titanic and see her interior like it was when finished, it's a very lovely glimpse into the past and what it must've been like on board, prior to the disaster.
Being a total lay person I cannot fathom how the artwork and panning is achieved and all the incredible detail to cabins, public and crew areas is done, phenomenal! Must be a trick!!! I kept wondering how the interior designers and craftsmen (and ship builders) felt knowing all their careful and intricate work sank to the bottom of the ocean so quickly 😢
If you think about it compared to many other famous wrecks it sank at a snails pace almost 3 hours might seem like a short span of time but Lusitania sank in under 20 minutes and many others about the same
A Ms. R. DeWitt Bukater and a Mr. Cal Hockley are listed among real names in the reservation book at the B-deck a-la-carte restaurant (42:37). I love the stunning attention to detail.
It breaks my heart, that the beloved beautiful titanic sank, so much work was put into that ship, and now it's sitting at the bottom of the ocean. Its so sad that it may be completely gone at 2050, Many memories were made on that ship, and lots of beloved souls were lost. They had the mind that they were off to somewhere, but they never expected it to be the bottom of the ocean. Rest in peace Titanic.
This is a very, very good presentation of this amazing recreation! Most of us have been enjoying wanders through the THG Titanic for years, but often they are too hurried - and have a jerky camera that makes it hard to take in. Your approach here is perfect. As a former Queen Mary tour guide, my only suggestion is that, at some point, we have a NARRATED tour where our host (even if unseen) discusses the space we are in, and the camera moves to items as they are discussed. I would go so far as having them say "please watch your step as we descend these stairs" and so on, make it feel like we are traversing the space in real time. Also, as wonderful as the music is, a version like this might feature realistic ambient sounds instead. It would be an alternative way to experience the ship, not at all a replacement for the wonderful approach you have followed here.
That is an amazing idea! As wonderful is this is, I hope the your feedback is something they consider. As I also agree, not a replacement of this one but an alternative way to experience the ship.
As I take a moment's break, just wondering what some of the comments are, I come across this comment just as I'd gotten to the reciprocating engine room. YES!! I was so pleased to see movement here, SOUND would have been amazing! I support this ^^ comment.
You almost feel like this is fictional, and yet, the wreck lies at the depth of the ocean in the cold, dark abyss. It’s real and and it really happened.
I wish we'd see more video games like this. To be able to explore and experience times and places we'd never otherwise be able to. Schools could use tools like this and have kids loving to learn.
I've wondered why they haven't built an exact replica of the Titanic , and just have it stationery like the queen Mary in long Beach. It could serve as both a museum and hotel.
because it would cost Billions of dollars to do it. Titanic was 46,000 tons. Replica that are much smaller are hard enough as it is. Just building a Steam Locomotive is expensive enough and those are tiny compared to an Ocean Linner. Then of course I have to ask- do you want a true replica or just a Ship that looks like the Titanic but is extremely different. since building Titanic out of shell plating and installing massive reciprocating steam engines would cost even more since they would have to be built by hand and assembled with skills that no longer exist. This program- Titanic Honor and Glory is perfect if you want to explore the Titanic. Carful research and computing and now you get a perfect Museum ship that needs 0 upkeep and you can explore the ship from keel plates to crows nest.
Apparently Aussie billionaire Clive Palmer is working at replicating the Titanic 2. The launch date is in 2027 and he plans to retrace the original Titanics planned maiden voyage. Hopefully he will make it happen.
Stunning - this is amazing. I always thought the deck bench frames were black - they were brass? Who else noticed that the DeWitt-Bukater/Hockley party had a reservation in the a la Carte Restaurant?
ASOMBROSO .

This video helps to dispel the myth that the Third Class passengers were locked up during the sinking, as there are absolutely no Bostwick gates separating their cabins from the well and poop deck. More people need to see this!
I absolutely love the Titanic, this video is amazing and so life like. I feel a little claustrophobic going through the long corridors, it reminds me of a dream. It is sad to know what happened to the Titanic as well as its passengers. Thankfully beautiful animation like this keeps its memory alive. RIP Titanic.💔
Сказать что очень красиво это ничего не сказать! Просто какое то чудо! Рай! Кровь стынет в жилах от мысли что этот рай покоится на дне океана! Светлая память всем погибшим! Жаль что так всё произошло! 🙏
Just imagine if any Titanic survivors were still alive to see this? It would bring a lot of emotions to think their back onboard the ship just like they did in real life and for them to see the full interior of Titanic that some survivors didn't really get to see when they were on the ship. Plus they would be able to tell us stories of what areas of the ship they were on and what they did and tell us life onboard Titanic before the disaster happen. This is truly a masterpiece right here.
Absolutely stunning! A masterpiece in simulated reality! It's like being a spirit visiting the ship in a singular moment in time that's just out of phase, thus rendering the people unseen. (Like in The Langoliers) Beautiful work! And the music is Heavenly! I'd love to know if it's available to listen too separately.
I've spent decades, living, breathing, building, crafting models to will this great beautiful ship back to some kind of reality. I think after watching this, it is as close as we will EVER get; to the young beautiful lady that she really was.... Great job team! - Gary
It’s lovely that we can imagine being there , without being on the sea . This is incredible to watch. I feel like I on the Titanic if this is exactly how it was , it’s amazing the craftsmanship that was in this ship is incredible . This takes me into another time & place it’s like travelling back in time .
This is fantastic.. Beautifully done.. Very realistic and incredibly poignant... I feel the same as many people... All that craftsmanship just gone... But of course the lives lost are worth so much more,,
I've been wanting to see this for so long. I've heard about it, but I could not download the game on my phone or pay whatever was required to own it. I've always just wanted to watch a high quality tour of the entire ship!
I can see what Ismay was getting at about the lifeboats, if there was three times the amount of lifeboats you wouldn't be able to swing a mouse yet alone a cat on the decks.
I have a lot of thoughts and feelings coursing through me as I sit here watching this. Aside from the obvious, like the terrible loss of life, I'm wondering what some of those little, odd spaces are for. I find myself thinking WOW what a waste of time, money, materials, craftsmanship and to not even have had this thing see more than one half finished trip, hardly anyone even got to see the inside of it, I'm sure there were spaces on-board that NOBODY even seen or used yet, doors that weren't even opened by anyone except an inspector, mattresses that weren't laid on, heads that weren't even used yet, I mean this thing was brand new. I always had the ominous and maybe superstitious feeling of it being jinxed by touting it as being "unsinkable", yeah, so much for that idea😢

What a great video of what the ship was like before its tragic end! Perhaps in the future it can be done, but I doubt that Titanic 2 can compete with current cruises and few want a real tour of what the luxury of a cruise ship was like 112 years ago.

It is a pity Thomas Andrews has never seen such an animation. I think he would be proud how much attention his ship gets today 111 years later.
Likely he would see anywhere small mistakes and point them out

The subtly scariest part is that exploring all of these rooms of the ship took longer than it did to sink.
I just want to say for the record that this music is so ridiculously smoothing I could probably fall asleep Listening to this
Unbelievable!! I've been into the Titanic since I read "A Night to Remember" in 1958 then saw the British movie.
That's the best movie about the titanic.
I read the magic treehouse book Tonight on the Titanic in third grade. That started it for me
