Amazing. I was 5 at the time and yet because our Dutch VARA broadcast company broadcast Coronation Street for many years, I recognize so many characters. Wonderful stuff.
Thanks for sharing. No Elsie, she's upstairs having a rest Dennis said. She's been in the thick of recent episodes so probably Pat was given a rest. Scare story for a ring road to go through Coronation St. But years ago there were scare stories of that nature, so true !
Anyone else notice right at the beginning of the episode after the title music, the scene with Arthur Leslie (Jack Walker) shows just half of the Rovers Return, just the public bar window, no select window, I don't know about the collapsing of Number 7, looks like half the Rovers has collapsed!!, Except the Walkers and their friends and neighbours don't seem to have noticed! I wonder what the reason was for getting rid of one of the houses, by writing a story it had collapsed?
Something else horrible would have happened had she taken up electrics. Poor Ida ran under a bus to get away from Frank. The dryer was just convenient. No way Val would have been able to crack on that she was happy with Ken any longer. Any road she kept her promise. Til death do us part.
@@happiness4812 😂😂😂Don't forget Janet taking 200 paracetamol to ensure she'd die in the horrific Kenneth's bed and also throw up all over it at the same time to annoy him even more. You make an excellent and deep philosophical point about Valerie. maybe she'd eventually have thrown herself between Ernie Bishop and the booming shotgun, or, much sooner, have, within minutes of arriving in Jamaica, simply walked in front of a juggernaut like Kevin's forgotten second wife.
another great episode. Thank you so much!

Mr Sinclair from the council went on to play Mr Perkins the neighbour in Rentaghost.
The other guy went on to be Terry Sullivan's Dad in Brookside...
He also went on to have a son who was very rude to Basil Fawlty over the shape of his chips.
The well dressed wish bone lol

Pity poor lovely Valerie didn't do a course in electrics.
Probably would have helped her out in the long run
