Good question! This was definitely one of the hardest songs to rank because it fits the track perfectly and I do really like how different it is compared to the other songs but I never find myself listening to it outside the track or anything unlike many other songs in the game. Definitely a great song but I simply couldn’t justify placing it higher unfortunately. I’m glad you love it so much though!😁

A song that has a really fun groove, builds to one of the most beautiful melodies in the whole game that perfectly captures a sense of bittersweet nostalgia, with an amazing vibraphone and accordion duet in the highlight reel and one of the coolest bass lines in all of gaming in the underground section AND YOU PUT IT AT 80?! Good video but this is an unforgivable crime

I may not completely agree, like cheese land, sky garden, maple treeway, superbell subway underground, and animal crossing winter being incredibly low, but the fact that you put 3DS rainbow road at the top and not Wii rainbow road… You are fantastic my friend. Amazing video, and it’s nice to see someone else’s perspective of some of these great songs. Keep up the great work and I’d love to see what you put out next.

SNES rainbow road from mk8 will always be my favorite song there, it has an awesome beat to it but also has somewhat of a beautiful feeling to it, and I absolutely adore it, mute city’s my second favorite ngl
I got so scared cause u saw mount wario at 70 and had a panic attack but then i saw it said sector 1 (which if it was ranked all together it would be #1 at least on my list)

I know there are people who really like GCN DK Mountain music but I’ve never gotten the appeal in any version though I don’t dislike it (it’s alright imo). Regardless it’s safe to say I’m in the minority in terms of my opinion on it especially compared to the rest of the game.

Overall great video but i don't agree with most of your ranking. The principals are squeaky, tokyo, luigi's mansion, snow land, peach gardens, royal raceway, wuhu town, daisy circuit, Rome, sherbet, Waluigi stadium, cove, ice world, sunshine, Koopa cape, #54 to #51, the #47, Athens, all Madrids, snes bc3, Sydney and lunar colony. All of these should be higher despite colony which should be lower for me. A few needs to be way lower like exitebike, gorge, summit, turnpike, London, baby park. The others i let them there since they are mostly ( around 10 positions lower or higher) where i would rank them too.
It’s nice to hear opposing opinions. I find music rankings much harder to do than track rankings and despite how different our opinions are I respect yours. Thanks for sharing them.👍

Then i don't agree fully with like 30 and the rest i agree pretty much. You seem to be very RR biased since you putted all rr musics in the top 18.

Just want to tell you that I made a custom track based off of Parma in Mario Kart PC, now that we can finally change routes in their custom tracks 😁 It’s called Parma Panic.
I don’t even dislike Shroom Ridge lol. I know I ranked it low compared to most but I still consider it peak music. It ranking as low as it does shows just how much I love this game’s soundtrack. (Yes I’d argue the top 55 songs are all peak music wise)
Ones like Tour Singapore Speedway and Tour Vancouver Velocity show why they're the fan favorites from Tour with their songs. Others like 3DS RR and Wii RR bring back so much nostalgia. I mean, why else would Nintendo not back with these tracks. And then you have SNES Mario Circuit 3, who did literally nothing to improve itself. Give the track's very controversial inclusion (no seriously, why is this piece of shit here?), I can only assume Nintendo got lazy with the music, not even taking inspiration from Smash or 3D World, games that remixed the SNES MC music way better.
I appreciate the work, but Animal Crossing Spring at #121 is a disgrace (It's not that deep though, every opinion is valid. I'm just disappointed my favourite music is so low)
I don’t hate either song. Mario Circuit 3 music is meh but I actually enjoy Donut Plains 3 music despite it being 3rd to last. I just find most songs in the game to be better is all. That being said yeah it does rank really low sadly. Where would you rank it?
I really struggled making a tier list for this and decided to post the video without any. However I have since made a tier list for the songs which was a pain to put together. Yeah 8 Deluxe went rainbow road crazy lol. Given there’s 96 tracks it’s somewhat understandable. I would’ve traded one of them for an additional Bowser Castle track though.
The first part which I don’t care for. The second part saves it from ranking lower and frankly if the entire song was like the 2nd half it would have ranked notably higher probably. I wouldn’t rank it 1st even then though. I’m glad you like it so much however.

Someone else said something similar but the first half just sounds very underwhelming, almost empty and like I am waiting for anything to happen in the song. It’s not bad but just alright and compared to most of every other song in the game which I find offer much better consistency it’s a let down. The second half saves the song and I really enjoy it which overall makes it a good though very latter half carried song imo. I know Riverside Park music fans are out there and you seem to be one of them and I am glad you love it so much but anyways that is my reasoning.

I don’t even dislike Shroom Ridge lol. I know I ranked it low compared to most but I still consider it peak music. It ranking as low as it does shows just how much I love this game’s soundtrack. (Yes I’d argue the top 55 songs are all peak music wise)

Ones like Tour Singapore Speedway and Tour Vancouver Velocity show why they're the fan favorites from Tour with their songs. Others like 3DS RR and Wii RR bring back so much nostalgia. I mean, why else would Nintendo not back with these tracks.
And then you have SNES Mario Circuit 3, who did literally nothing to improve itself. Give the track's very controversial inclusion (no seriously, why is this piece of shit here?), I can only assume Nintendo got lazy with the music, not even taking inspiration from Smash or 3D World, games that remixed the SNES MC music way better.
I appreciate the work, but Animal Crossing Spring at #121 is a disgrace

I don’t hate either song. Mario Circuit 3 music is meh but I actually enjoy Donut Plains 3 music despite it being 3rd to last. I just find most songs in the game to be better is all. That being said yeah it does rank really low sadly. Where would you rank it?

It’s still a great song imo but I just prefer listening to other songs. Regular version of Dolphin Shoals is much better and is peak imo.

Yeah 8 Deluxe went rainbow road crazy lol. Given there’s 96 tracks it’s somewhat understandable. I would’ve traded one of them for an additional Bowser Castle track though.
Why the fuck is riverside park not number 1
The first part which I don’t care for. The second part saves it from ranking lower and frankly if the entire song was like the 2nd half it would have ranked notably higher probably. I wouldn’t rank it 1st even then though. I’m glad you like it so much however.

Someone else said something similar but the first half just sounds very underwhelming, almost empty and like I am waiting for anything to happen in the song. It’s not bad but just alright and compared to most of every other song in the game which I find offer much better consistency it’s a let down. The second half saves the song and I really enjoy it which overall makes it a good though very latter half carried song imo. I know Riverside Park music fans are out there and you seem to be one of them and I am glad you love it so much but anyways that is my reasoning.
