Living in NEPA, I assure you most people in New York have 4-Wheel Drive, if they're smart enough. My mother had her 4WD on once in New York during this kind of weather and she still had a hard time getting around. Snow isn't uncommon for the New England States.

they actually got snow when the east coast was having lots of warm weather. in Arizona, we got like 1-3 inches every other day then.

Snow storms are such a fun adventure and they would be even more fun if winter did not last so long.

This is crazy to see. I knew that they were getting a lot of snow this weekend, but all of thees time-lapses I've been seeing really puts it into perspective just how serious it got. Hopefully everyone was prepared for this.

Record snow? That is like 1 inch. The record is 2 feet.
It was 30 inches. It's just that people constantly shoveled. And the previous record was 29 inches which is more than two feet. You don't know what your talking about
According to NOAA’s NWS, Central Park, NYC picked up 27.5” of snow during the January 23rd, 2016 Blizzard, this broke the previous record of 26.9” set on February 13th, 2006.
