A fun toddler toy is a colander and pipe cleaners. You can weave them in and out of the holes in the colander and they are fun to pull out and for your toddler to stick in and pull out himself too. Hours of fun and great for hand and eye coordination and sensory also etc.

Good morning Stefanie, I popped on your Etsy shop and ordered a couple things for my little great nephew who is due this month. I love your sleep sacks , have one I have used with my last grandson and then with my other little great nephew who I take care of during day ..... just wanted to say that 😊 and love your videos ❤ and as a mom I understand how you are feeling, my boys are grown with kiddos of their own now but it was always bittersweet as they grew and developed and becoming more independent, hard on a momma's heart for sure .... you are proud of them but miss that needing you too ❤😊

Concerning toys: easy jigsaw puzzles are always nice. Lilia loves her lego duplo sets. And she goes nuts about sticker books. They are really nice to get children into critical thinking and talking about why things go in a particular spot. My daughter loves to play board games now, too. A magnetig fishing game, a first memory game and a game called fädelraupe (thread caterpillar) where you thread small wooden pieces on a cord according to what colour you roll on a dice.
As Kieran loves imaginative play he might enjoy a play kitchen or grocery store. A tool box with nuts and bolts is fun as well.
Montessori would introduce pouring exercises now and you can easily make them yourself. Start with big things like dry pasta, then corn, rice, semolina and then finally wet things. Another typical exercise envolves using spoons. You prepare a tablet with two bowls. Put walnuts (uncracked) into the left one and have Kieran use a big spoon to transfer them one by one into the right one. Trust me, it will keep him busy for hours. You can spice the exercise up by letting him use different interesting tools on a variety of spooning material. you can also get Kieran involved in daily chores around the house.
But the best you can do for his development is expose him to kids his age. Find a playgroop or consider daycare for a few hours during tge week. At one point kids will naturally seek out peers and staying home with only their parents just is not enough anymore. In my experience this happens around two and a galf years.
