    sick sled bro. I have a big heavy one too but I'm often too lazy to lift it up on my saw, hah. Nice to see you using your new saw

      Yes! Nice to put it to use. I was going to go huge just for building cabinets but then realized it was about 1/3 width of my shop...

    Nice Blake! The current drill press video I'm working on gives a plug to the benefits of a mic...I didn't have one on the mobile base build, but used some birthday cash and got one for around $100 that I used on the material for the drill press video. It's an instant improvement.

    Great video! It is criminal that you don't have more subs. If I had any friends I would tell them about your channel.

    Good idea with the sacrificial zero clearance inserts. A new crosscut sled is on my list too, I accidently cut my old one in half.

      When I had my old tablesaw I switched to think kerf blades and it always killed me having a 1/8 kerf right through the sled! Trying to think ahead this time.

    I really like the cinematography in this video. The opening drones shots etc are very Scott Brown Carpentry which is nice. Your nice new workshop has quite a lot of echo so perhaps you could try a lapel mic or add some sound panels to the wall and ceiling to improve the sound quality. Maybe once your cabinets are up this will help. Channel content is really great so far. Also fit a hook on the back of the door for your hoddie ;p

      This comment made my week! Thank you and yes, a mic is needed. Linds keeps saying I can't buy any TH-cam gear until I'm at 1000 subs... I'll work on her.

    What was up with the aluminum extrusion between the fence and workpiece?

    • @BlakePizzey
      @BlakePizzey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi David, good Q. At 5:08 I glued up the three pieces quite quick and didn't perfectly aligned the edges. If I used the table saw fence then the wood would rock (hope that makes sense). The aluminum edge at 7:14 made it so I was only referencing off the bottom piece of ply and allowed the top layers to overhang slightly.

    Nice video! I'm interested in the rubber floor you have. Do you like it? Would you buy it again? Most rubber tiles are rough. Your's seem to have a slight sheen. Which product did you buy? And finally, how long did the rubber off gas? Sorry for all these questions. Hoping for some guidance! I enjoy your channel.

      Hi Jay! Thanks for the comment. Check out episode 2 for details on the rubber floor. I walk through it and provide a link to the product. Cheers.
