Great video and thank you! Firestone complete auto care just quoted me over 1k for this job bc they wanted to replace the entire knuckle instead of replacing the bearing! I'll be taking my money to a more skilled shop like yours!
The grappler tool can save time in many situations and is great if you don't have access to hydraulic press. However, on the car in this video, he was one nut away from having the whole knuckle off the car. At that point I would have just used the shop press.

My honda accord 2010 “oem” wheel bearing failed at 60k miles. Why so early? Its a “national “brand made in usa but failed at 60k miles. I also notice famous brands like nsk, skf and timken are made in china now.
I have a 2018 accord with 50k miles and mine went out. The dealership wanted 530 to replace it with 225 for parts. Total rip off. I told them I'm not buying any parts from you if they only last 50k. I'll get two from the parts store for 120 and do them my self
@@CEASUSA The light will also come on if the bearing is accidentally installed with the magnetic side facing out. Not saying that you did that, but I've seen it before.
@@CEASUSA . So, I tried to use my Milwaukee mid torque to remove the wheel bearing also using a grappler. It never moved. I prefer to do my own car repairs but in my current living situation is not feasible to be banging away or hammering endlessly with an impact gun. I guess I'll need to let the shop do this one. I can't wait to get my own house with a garage (and a more powerful impact gun). Thanks for the great video and the kind reply!

Jeez that's a lot of work.
Some bearing manufacturers (National) are now making the bearings with the ABS encoder on both sides of the bearing so you can't put it in wrong.
Is the same for 10th generation
Good job on the video guys.
It’s amazing how easy things work out when you don’t work on vehicles that are bathed in salt year after year and turn to flaky rust buckets!!
Totally!
What brand wheel bearing did you used?

Is an alignment needed after doing this job?
It's not required but is recommended.

I like your video. It is clear and easy to follow. Thanks
How much do car shop charge for a work done like that?
It really all depends on the shop!
The dealership Wendy's 530 to do one side on mine
You don't show how press the hub in
What year is that honda.
2011
Don’t use a “ pickle fork “on a tie rod or ball joint you want to use again.
Yea, Ive ripped quit a few boots using a pickle fork, I now use pullers to take out tie rods and ball joints
When installing bearing, no need to use a cup
Why did my abs light come on when I change mine
Pretty common thing to happen when messing with or removing tires. It's very likely that you unplugged or moved the ABS Sensor.

Nice video! 13:20 about how strong of an impact gun would you say you need to pull out the hub?
Thanks, Supernova, We would suggest at least a full-size gun 1/2" or bigger.

Cutting Edge Automotive Solutions . You got a new sub. Love the content and well edited videos. Cheers!!
How much did you charge for that work specifically!
Generally between $400-$600 depending on which shop you go to. This job however was at no charge since it was one of our employee vehicles.
You made a mistake bud!!! You said the magnetic side towards the sensor and you have the knuckle fliped so you put it wrong
