I didn't like how this story basically wrote out Batman when of all the Justice League, he has by far the most children (both biologic & adopted). So in an arc that revolves around their children, it just feels off he has no involvement.

These kids aren't Barry and Iris's though, so it would make sense why Bart isn't here

Even then, Bart's identity is that he's a Decent of Barry's from a distant future, and so can easily be changed to even be Barry's Son.
Most people can tell you who Bart is despite not knowing who his Parents are anyways.
It's harder to displace Wally compared to Bart.
He can still exist as long as he is related to Barry and is from the Future.
So the green lantern kids can basically control every part of the emotional spectrum?
Was there sth mentioned to why they can do that? I really want a backstory to them now.
Errorghastly probably both Phantom Lanterns
My theory has quite a few a points to piece together, so Imma list them before the conclusion:
1) Maybe Jessica will be a much stronger lantern ; she could have crazy events that will grant her access or give her a taste of each side of the spectrum and be even stronger than Kyle and Hal combined (cause these two are well-known to have tapped into nearly or all (don't remember exactly) sections of the spectrum).
2) The Flash (Barry) might come into contact with the emotional spectrum (also through massive events, having Jessica as the most likely connection). An example of this sort of event, is if Jessica somehow suffers a heavy loss and Barry seeing her nearly die (for a righteous reason, or the plot of this event could be a dark one) somehow initiates this spark of all the feelings in a mix, thus has formed a connection to the spectrum (and he gains a new form, which I would like to see if they do something like this lol #FusionFlash).
lastly 3) Since the speedforce and emotional spectrum are two of the big guns that the DC Universe has to offer, and that the future Jessica and Barry are much more in tune with their respective powers,
Conclusion: Maybe these twins are the result of Jessica and Barry's "feelings" (and powers) combined altogether, thus being able to use all sides of the spectrum, even Life and Death (really powerful kiddos lmao)
Idk, but I just have the feeling that the journey leading up to these kids will be one extremely filled to the brim with nearly every emotion known to man, which I would gladly read to the very end.

I agree with this...if they can control ALL the colors of the emotional spectrum including Black and White aren't they the most OP heroes ever? Maybe more powerful than Superman?
Kyle still has yet to tap into the power of the black ring (unless I forgot something), while Hal I believe has used all emotions in some way and has been the only lantern to control Nekron himself. I am curious to see if doomsday clock changes this and brings Barry back to Iris (or the flash story line) which would change the future again. Not sure if I am fan of Jessica and Barry mash up, kinda seems forced like the Kyle and Carol, but their kids are awesome.

those kids were really interesting. It would be cool to see Hunter in the wonderwoman family and flash's kids were awesome. I think the whole young avengers idea is cool but id would hope they would take on new names and stuff

I find it wierd how the future kids didn't include the kids we knew of weren't there. Jon, Damian, even the tornado twins and impulse.

Barry and Jessica? Yep. This is definitely a teenager fanfiction. Barry and Iris are the true couple! Why can't superheroes just be paired with regular people!? Why do they have to be paired WITH each other!? It was bad enough that Superman and Wonder Woman were paired together in the New 52.
Also, the plot overall is very weak.
The only part that interested me was the Son of Wonder Woman part. I always wondered what would happen if Wonder Woman had a son, not a daughter. Would she raise him in Themyscira, despite being a male, or would she abandon him because no men are allowed on Themyscira, since even she has to respect the law of Paradise Island. I read in the New 52 that the Amazons killed their babies if they were male. Very brutal.
This might be because the CW show has really soured me to the Barry/Iris relationship... but I actually kind of like Barry with Jessica...

Tevya Smolka if a movie is ever made about these kids, then i would like it to have a more simple story that answers some questions. like who is hunters father, did he know diana in his time, how they became a team. this story is very rushed and they are trying too hard to be entertaining.
It was garbage, IMO. JL Rebirth has been really bad. With Supergirl, it's among some of the weakest titles DC are putting out at the moment. Hopefully Priest can unfunk it.
The kids were the most interesting part about it, they should've explored that future more for a build up.

Was this the story where one of the kids has green lantern powers because they are a child of a green lantern? And if so, did they ever explain how being the child of a green lantern gives you green lantern powers, when all the green lantern powers come from the ring, not the person?
I think it's bc Jessica's ring was Volthoom's, who could use the spectrum without a ring.
