@@BuddySpike23 I'm surprised you're not aware of Beyond ATC since you're testing this one out. It is a direct competitor to sayintentions and is close to being released either this month or next month. It will for sure be much better and cheaper than this one.
@@ZiggyAir It is already announced that it will be available in less than a month. But this early version will not include traffic injection yet. That said, the way it works will be completely different than SayIntension. The AI part will only synthesize the voice to make it sounds real but the communications will be entirely scripted and not improvised. In other words you will not be in conversation with the AI at all as is the case with SayIntention. By following both projects closely, I can say that it is very promising but both are still quite disappointing at the current state. Price-wise, SayIntention has no chance with this much too high price. We wish they would do like BeyondATC who completely revised their first pricing.
@@laurentsamson8927 I haven't used BATC, but I like that I can talk to the AI in sayintentions and sometimes get some interesting responses. Feels more like real ATC life. I think we will all be better off with good competition in this area.
@@BuddySpike23 Maybe so, but I think his point was well taken. A prospective customer needs to know if an addon has issues that differs from the real world - this one definitely does.
Interesting and very disappointing at the same time. I am a certified pilot in Canada and I confirm that this does not sound more accurate to me. The delay is something too. A delay is more common in flights or at busy airports, but where you are, it's not like that. You initially said that at your Homebase it was a right-turning circuit, but she asked you to turn left. This specificity is described for each airport, so she must know this basic information and she obviously does not know it. (EDITED I heard that this AI use Navigraph as the Database. As left turns is the standard we can understand she did know that local exception) The altitude of the circuit is also a world standard, 1000 feet AGL (5500 ASL in your case). She doesn't know either that either, but the way you asked wasn't very clear. Additionally, if ground control service is available, the tower will never give you the instruction to hold short on exit after exiting runaway while you are on final, a nonsense. Only when you roll after landing do you exit wherever you want, at your discretion, or you will be prompted to do so by the tower and only it will tell you to contact ground once you exit. Holding the stopping line on exit is implicit, the tower never mentions respecting this rule. At this point, the tower instructs you to contact the ground for further instructions if available. I appreciate your short experiment because it highlights many flaws. Flaws that I haven't heard in the other videos I've watched. Maybe because you didn't do it BtB, you opened a room for her to show his flaws.😄
I feel the biggest issue with SI are the loooong delays before it responds to you. You never know if it's still processing or just missed your call.
I think beyond ATC will likely blow this out of the water once it's available
What's beyond ATC?

If it ever comes out.

Thanks for the video! I am looking into this program and this was helpful!
If you asked for a circuit, shouldn't you expect pattern altitude?
I should, I mentioned that in the video
@@BuddySpike23 I guess, I missed that, sorry.
W video
it would have been a much more accurate review if you hadn't fast forwarded the long pauses before SI responded to your calls
The video would have become very boring and long
