Keep up the great work. When I gave wrong instructions to request VFR clearance, ATC came back telling me they knew I was new at the FBO, and even used my name. This program is seriously very well done and has great potential. Keep up the good work! Well worth the money!

Great video!! thanks!!!. a note at 11:36 : As a pilot, I never use "ready for take off". Instead, I use "ready for departure". I only use the words "take off" just as a read back of the tower clearance "clear for take off".

Very impressive! I learned about this program while watching a BYATC video, ironically 😂 I think my problem is not so much the price, but the fact that I'm an occasional user of MSFS. The majority of my limited sim time is spent in DCS World (in VR) living my dreams of being a combat fighter pilot, lol. But, as a longtime user of MSFS (since my teen years-1980s), I've always wished for realistic ATC and since I don't do much real world flying these days (PPL since 1998), this looks like a great alternative. I'm also exclusively GA when I fly the sim (love the FSW 414). Tried airliners a few times over the years, but they never held my interest very long. So that's a plus that this can be used with any aircraft in the sim. Just wish I could pay for what I use, as I use it or bank it. Awhile ago, I was contemplating Pilot Edge, but their coverage is just too limited for my taste! If I'm going to pay for ATC services, they need to cover the area that I do my actual flying IRL. That is the East Coast USA (same area that the PE founder is based, coincidently). In fact, I've flown into his local airport (KCDW) numerous times over the years, after getting my PPL at nearby Teterboro (KTEB). I thought by now, he would have East Coast coverage🤔
My only flight out west, was a mountain flying coarse that I took in the beautiful Rockies a few years ago, at Telluride Airport (KTEX).
Anyhow, nice video and this definitely looks like the future of sim ATC! 👍🏾
Sounds like a great product, but at $30 per month (as mentioned below, and I presume that's US dollars), it's a bit pricey; US $15 would get me very interested, and at US $12 I'd be saying 'take my money!'
We'd love to get it lower! The AI/server combo we use is quire pricey for this level of cutting-edge tech. As those prices lower, so will we!
Looks like an awesome addon, however in my view unless I read incorrectly its pricey at $30per month or $300. annually, according to their website it'll be at this price for a while since its in Beta
Yep, this technology is VERY expensive to provide. Since it uses cutting-edge AI, unfortunately to be sustainable this is what it costs. Nobody wants a lower price than us, and as soon as we see savings on our tech we will absolutely pass that on!
Looks nice, but very expensive if you only fly a few times a month like me. Would be nice to have a reduced monthly fee with limited flights or something to that extent.
Phraseology is spot on said right after told to taxi to holding decimal runway 33😅

Absolutely! It’s fully dynamic. We are constantly tweaking “enforcements” to work across the board, but in certain instances you’ll get pilot deviation and phone number to call!

Hopefully they bring this to XPlane too.

I'd buy it if it was the same price as Navigraph. Until then I'm going to overcome my getting it wrong anxiety and commit to using Vatsim.
Why would it be the same price as Navigraph? Navigraph is not ATC and nothing like it. You may as well say you wish it was the same price as an apple.

No, sadly it does not. I'm getting more and more excited for BATC ...
I noticed there was about a 20 second delay between your taxi clearance request and the ATC response and another 20 second delay for the Line Up and Wait response. That is a quite lengthy delay.... But with the editing, it makes it look the response is almost instant. a bit deceptive.
Not deceptive no. Trying to shoe all the responses and flow without making the video extra long for no reason.

Q8 hi, longtime subscriber here from Albany NY area. Just have to ask where you get that American accent from? Sounds like US northeast area and I think I’ve heard you say that you are from Kuwait from birth. Just curious and love your videos.
I lived in the US for 10 years. I picked up the accent during my time there. Though I was in California. Thank you for your support over the years.

Looks like the ATC needs around 20 seconds to generate a response?
Average response time is 9-11 seconds right now - and is something we closely track! Longer replies such as clearances do take a bit longer. Our goal is to have this reduced by 33% or more by years end.
It’d be unrealistic to always get an immediate response anyway

We are planning our own injection source, but yes, it does work with FSLTL and will give you traffic alert, etc!
Very expensive for montly see beyond atc
Two completely different products. SI uses generative AI plus LOADS of custom procedures to deliver a dynamic true to life ATC experience in MSFS! In addition to normal ATC stuff you can declare an emergency, change your destination, ask about a landmark you see and find out info, shoot a series of practice approaches, pick up VFR flight following, etc. BATC is going to be an amazing product if you want more scripted "on the rails" ATC procedures with few if any dynamic capabilities!
I think you should sell your base programme for 30 dolar and montly 5 or 8 dollar... Still very expensve for home user

SI is the only dynamic AI driven ATC out there. No guardrails. Fully supports route changes, emergencies, go arounds, etc!

Taxi instructions at Basel were off, Taxiway C lead to RW25.. its taxiway L going to RW33
Taxi/ground instructions aren’t perfect. Unfortunately there is no where to get that data at a reasonable cost. As you know, MSFS taxiway data is very broken. We are constantly working on a solve!

@@davidcardoza535 we're actively working on arrival vectors, should be released with a couple days! If you missed the big news - we partnered with NaviGraph and are actively working to integrate their data with our AI. We'll be releasing that and approach vectors at the same time
I am currently using MSFS ATC AI. What are the settings that I need to have in MSFA to make sure there is no conflict between MSFS and SayintentionsAI? Also, does the developer have plans to include an autotune feature, like a Copilot AI?
Turn off MSFS ATC.

Good Q! Not at this time. This is a feature request we have heard a few times, so will definitely explore. One cool feature is you CAN use the Active Pause and SayIntentions will ALSO pause, allowing you to step away as necessary if you'd like!
What would happen if you missed that turn onto taxiway bravo? Would the AI give you a number to call? 😅
Enforcement is turned on for certain stages of flight right now! Pilot deviations are definitely modeled, with a real phone #!
Causing a deviation is almost worth it because ATC will definitely give you a real number to call and when you call it you will get a fun earful! This product is a must have!😊

It's to show all the responses in the shortest time possible. I paid the full price so I don't need to advertise anything. You seem to be new here.

Everything is voice at this stage. We have had that as a previous feature request and may explore it in the future but our idea is "No UI needed". Just tune freq and talk!
Nice overview. However, I think editing out the time between you contacting ATC and them responding isnt giving a fair representation of the product. From other videos I've seen, its quite a lengthy wait.
The editing is to shorten the video time and provide you with all the responses from ATC so you can evaluate phraseology and overall operation. In real life you would wait longer than what you see in the video. So the product works very well in my view.
Average response time is 8-9 seconds at this time. Down from 11-12 the week before, which was down from 15 just a couple weeks prior. Things are moving FAST. Why don't you just come try it yourself, for free and see?

Considering what it does, how it does it and Considering the amount of updates, I think the price is worth it. Remember AI technology is expensive too and so there is a cost for running this service.
They need to add the option of running AI locally on the computer to make it cheap. Running AI locally is very easy to do.

Is this video edited and cut? The responses seem near instant. That's contrary to my experience

The IFR clearance is way off what you would get in Europe. It's very much US ATC Style. Two examples: No SID? "expect FLxxx 10 mins after departure"? etc.
It is in BETA. We are aware and we fix things FAST! Did you file a SID? We definitely are modeled to use SIDS/STARS

Is this a sponsored promotion of this software? If you watch the cockpit clock during the clearance request phase, you can see the video is edited. It looks like its taking 35-45 seconds for the AI to respond to your transmissions.
It tAkes about 5 seconds to respond. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Ifr clearances are the longest waits

Does it also talk to AI aircraft?
No, unfortunately AI traffic have no real flight plan that is shown anywhere. Say Intentions would have no idea where/what an AI aircraft would do. You WILL get traffic alerts though, as it CAN tell the proximity. Our solve is our own traffic injection, which is on the roadmap!

No plans at this time. It certainly could work but it requires double the development effort for a very small percentage of the market. In the right circumstances we’d love to!! Big X-Plane fans.

I don't think it's obvious from this video so I have to ask. How it handles other traffic AI (fstl for example )and approach? Because to get ifr clearance and take off clearance that's the easy part. What about properly lining up aircraft for approach? What about going around? What about hold short when actually aircraft is landing? What about gate assigning? If it is going to clear you no matter the traffic it is just a radio you can speak to and it can speak back to you.
I'm also interested in this too. For the price I expect inflight meals too.
Works great with fsltl. You’ll get traffic advisories but there is no sequencing right now because FSLTL doesnt give data on where traffic is going. We are planning on our own injection to fix this.
Regarding approaches, go arounds, etc it works great! It’s completely dynamic and nothing is on guardrails. Of course its still in beta but all that is modeled.

Not yet - but it will give you traffic advisories while under flight following! It's on our roadmap, and we have solid plans in place already to inject and control our own traffic

@@karmabasedj8184 Not currently, and with FSTL and the like, probably never due to the way they are written. Once they are injected, there's no controlling them or knowing where they are going.... They are also different on everyone's systems. Some times by a little, sometimes by a whole lot.
SI is *aware* of the traffic, so you'll get traffic advisories and the like.... But it wont ever be sequenced if it comes out of any of the current traffic injection addons. We do have some ideas as to how to do our own traffic injection, but that's still in very early testing.

I don't see why not. Yes it should.

Not yet - planned for later down the road. We do fully support active pausing in case you need to leave!
