      A pair of Klipsch RP8000f, a klipsch RP504C and a pair of Klipsch RP-502s. With the Klipsch SPL-150 sub.

      It might have something to do with the fact that recording a set of speakers and then putting it through A/D, youtube's sampling, your D/A and then your speakers makes it completely dumb for any sort of comparison?

    It strikes me that if you had only listened to the RP-6000F you would be very happy with your purchase, it sounds great. But you would need to avoid any room with a RP-8000F, it seems to elevate everything just that little bit more.

  • @Njabuloseh

    Zeta Reticulans
    Was the microphone Height adjusted when switching speakers ?
    Pretty sure what we are hearing is the microphone being more in line with the rp-6000 tweeter (height)
    The rp-8000 being taller , the microphone is receiving the sound from a mid point between the twitter and the woofer Making it Seem to Sound Fuller and more laid back

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The microphone is actually positioned between the two tweeters, after vigorous testing, we found that to be the best position and we found no significant difference with minor microphone placement adjustments. It sounds that way because that's how the speakers literally sound. The 6000 tends to be a bit more pitchy and not as warm. They are both fantastic speakers but slightly different. A bit of RTA calibration quickly makes the 8000 brighter or tones down the 6000 high frequency response

    • @zetareticulans4142
      @zetareticulans4142 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok thanks for the clarification What about the rp5000 vs rp6000? Is the difference as drastict ? I also see that from rp 4000 to rp8000 all have different size wave guide From smaller to bigger surface area for the same tweeter diameter. Does this bigger surface area changes the sound of the tweeter ? Thx

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zetareticulans4142 there is definitely a pretty distinctive difference between each model. Even the little 4000f offers a pretty full sound but no where near as balanced as the 8000f. The tractrix horn definitely plays a part in the pitch and dispersion of sound. The larger the better.

    The RP-6000f's have more of a reddish hue, while the RP-600M's are golden/copper kind of colour.

      Yes, no problem at all. They are extremely efficient and have lightweight drivers. They do not need tons of power to produce high quality full range sound. If you provide a bit more power you will get enhanced bass response but your receiver will adequately provide what the speaker needs for mid-to-high level performance out of the units

      The 8000f has a better mid-range. They have equal high frequency response. If stereo listening without a subwoofer, the 8000f will certainly excel beyond the 6000f. If mostly watching mainstream movies and TV shows, with a large subwoofer, you wouldn't really be able to tell the difference between the 6000 and 8000f

    How they are with Marantz for Metal/Rock? Specifically Marantz PM7000N with Klipsch RP-6000F? A lot of people saying to me that Marantz is not so good for Metal music...

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I would say a Yamaha receiver, something RX a 1080 or higher would be a far superior choice for metal. Its definitely is going to do a much better job in the high frequency range and reproduce the electric guitar with more clarity. Marantz is pretty decent in the mid-range which is good for smooth jazz and acoustic guitar. If you've already got it for now, I would just go ahead and use it until you can upgrade.

      Not a bad idea. With some calibration it will work fine. Better to keep within the same model lineup to maintain Timbre (the type of sound that comes off a certain speaker material) but you will be fine.

    Which power amplifier you recommend for 6000f for marntz sr5014

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Your receiver will provide adequate power for the 6000f. You should be able to push them quite hard with that receiver. The only reason to upgrade do a separate amplifier would be to get a cleaner total harmonic Distortion or something like that but at that point you'd be looking at separates from a higher-end company. Thanks for watching my friend. Please sub for more

    RP280F vs RP8000F since both are bluetooth wireless, which would be more future proof for compatibility with others into a full HT system?

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Neither one of them are Bluetooth wireless speakers. They are passive speakers that require a receiver and wiring from the receiver to the speaker itself. They are designed to be used in a stereo configuration or with a full home theater system. The 280-f has been discontinued and the 8000f has replaced it.

    I think you can come close to the same sound if you adjust the attenuators on your source. Being its a very good source. That said, I like the 6000. The 8000 is nice too, but, it would be better in a larger space. It's funny, I own a pair of original RF-7's and i prefer them over the ll's and the lll's. I reall think space and amplifications helps put that into play.

    Great review do think that the 6000 will work in a apartment?

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Without a doubt boss. You should be able to play at low to medium volume without disturbing the neighbors. Even at lower levels the 6000f will provide a very full and balanced sound. The 5000f will also do a decent job. It will just lack a bit of lower bass frequency response. I recommend pairing a 6000f put something like a Yamaha 880 or 1080bl. If using 6000F in Stereo config, probably no need for a subwoofer.
