The next gardening tool I have ever purchased.
After a few goes you use almost no battery and it just looks amazing.

Yep if it's overgrown its a bit of a mission but once you get it good and maintained its a breeze!

I got ones of these units 18 months ago and it works well. It’s very convenient but like most Ryobi products it broke…

How did it break? I've only heard good things about these edgers. Mine is still going strong haha.

@@KiwiLawnie the mechanism that the blade is attached to that spins came loose and the blade no longer spins.

Ryobi is a brand I have used for years and they are pretty reliable but I had my lawn mower break last year and then the weed eater broke

Hello, is there something to stop it from accidentally cutting into the concrete and breaking the blade? I want to buy it but scared I might do this by accident

To be honest no not really! I imagine if you really wanted to you could do some damage. But really once you get used to it its very easy to use, just ease it in and once it's spinning I find it prefers to follow the concrete rather than try to dig into it. I just go slowly in the corners etc. Hope this helps a bit! I definitely recommend it and it's for sure the easiest way to get perfect edges.

No, you will see sparks. That's how you know not to stop. The blade won't break.
