Is it just me or when I do exactly what you did my caustics still don't appear at the water surface. It just become darker after having the Caustics setting turn on in the Settings. Anyone know what's the issue with it?

Thx you. You assign this key combination for camera navigation. Just go to view menu, and find camera navigation. Right click and assign ur custom key combination.
Hah!!! I was pulling my hair for 2 hrs not having this vivid and clear caustics effect even after I followed every step he suggested. All of a sudden I figured that angle of the sun parameter(object light) was the key! Description says it is sun's visual angular size seen from earth, which I thought sun's light angle and I was very wrong. Setting it below 2 degree resulted in excellent and vivid caustics. A'way, thanks for nice tutorial!
