  • Faced rejection from childhood, ran away from home and got into crime from an early age. Neema traversed from one prison to the other and experienced a lot.
From his story we can take one or two important lessons.

Our prison system is still colonial in its mandate. Beating people up in the 21st century when we have better means of rectifying behaviour is barbaric. Counselling and understanding the criminal psyche is important.

Guys…I am going to put this in CAPS because I want the message to be loud and clear. LETS GET ONE THING STRAIGHT….JAIL IS NOT A HOTEL. THE CONDITIONS IN JAIL ARE NOT MEANT TO MAKE PEOPLE TOO COMFORTABLE FOR THEM TO KEEP OFFENDING. YOU CAN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE CONDITIONS OF THE PRISONS. YOUR BEHAVIOUR IS WHAT PUT YOU THERE.
WE URGE PEOPLE TO STOP BAD BEHAVIOUR SO THAT THEY DONT GO TO PRISON ANF THEN END UP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PRISON CONDITIONS.
YES, THERE ARE INJUSTICES OF PEOPLE BEING PUT INTO PRISON FOR NO REASON. THEY DONT DESERVE TO BE THERE. BUT THISE THAT PERFORM ALL THESE EVIL ATROCITIES AND THEN END UP COMPLAINING NEED TO STOP. PRISON IS NO ONE’S MOTHER’S HOUSE OR A HOTEL.
    THANK YOU.
