I never had the balls to stand in the pen and ask for more. When a buyer shouts out QUALITY and you get a derisory price it can be disheartening. Always a good feeling to get a cure. I guess the lovely Jaz has gone back to Scotland now.

I think that rescued ewe has earned a name - or at least some notation in your Flockwatch data going forward. Surviving meningitis is a serious accomplishment, and might come into your future decisions.🐑❤️

Clearly this mom was not meant to pass. She was blessed to have you and a neighbor looking out for her so she could continue on loving her lamb and more. 🐑
Great save on the ewe I had a lamb with meningitis saved him but he always had a crooked neck.

Cool video & great ending for that ewe & lamb, great work 👌. I don't know much about them Mayo mountain sheep, but they are tough out ( I'd say), the lambs look class & tough. I'm over in Wicklow, alot of big white face Wicklow cheviot sheep here.
Great video,same problems here in Kerry,a few weeks back you showed a larcen trap for catching grey crows,do you have a drawing or dimensions?bigger ones go with the wind.

Rings are more common in local marts Kaz. All thanks to the neighbour and vet, I didn't do much!
Karol, A question i have is whether the buyers know that your sheep are organic? Does it make a difference when selling?
They're technically not organic I think Michelle, the rules are that if the rams went out before you went organic then the sheep are non-organic. Those hoggets were conceived in November 2022, I went organic in January 2023. Cheers for looking out for me! 🥰
Karol, I was just wondering whether the organic sheep are sold at the Marts or at an abatoir. I realize you just started the organic trade. So the ewes and tups have to be organic for the lambs to be organic? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn more. Love the drone shots of the countryside.
