2020 Sucks for sure...
But on the musical side of things, 2020 had some of the best releases I've heard in a while.
From thrash, to deathcore, to metalcore, to progressive and so much more, with more to come on the way!
Definitely a strong soundtrack to this otherwise mediocre year.
Within Destruction delivers a really superb slamming Deathcore album which even has rap flows in it. They released a song called "Harakiri" yesterday featuring a (satanic?) rapper called Bill $aber yesterday and it is fire.
Memories of the time my mom made me show her the lyrics of these song because she thought I was summoning satan or something xD

I have been a huge fan of Black Veil Brides since 2011 I was 10 years old around that time they helped me get through the death of my dad. Still to this day they are one of my favorite bands of all time and to see this album get remastered not only does it bring back childhood memories this is a beautiful fucking masterpiece! This album gets a 10/10 from me the instruments are *GODLIKE* and Andy's vocals are just as great as always. #BVBforever 🤘🏼🔥🖤

I feel the same way. I'm in tears listening to this...it's really close to my heart. This was the album that helped me get through domestic violence and child abuse. All of their albums have helped me tremendously, but this one came out when I was suffering the most.

In 2012 I was in a band and we played before them on their first show in Argentina. It brings back that day, I still remember the excitement and happiness and how we all were waiting to hear this song live. Still amazing 💕

And to those hating , they arent the same angry people they were Ten years ago, they grow and change evolving their sounds, on a side note i really do appreciate you guys for re - recording this whole album.

Welcome to the ex haters club. Sending you my love and support. I publicly shamed myself at a BVB concert for one(Oct 3rd, 2013), I of course was asked why I was one in the place. Drugs are bad new. I am former opioid addict. Drugs really fucked up my brain. So I owned up to a lot of my shit back then. Still do. Am 7 years clean though. But Andy told me face to face cause I apologized for hating his band that he forgave me and welcome to the BVB army. I never felt so home. From 11/8/14(Jan 27th,2013 really though) on I have celebrated this band. So welcome to the BVB army. I hope someday the guys officially welcome you. 💜🖤💛

This song marked my adolescence a lot, the first time I heard it I was 11 years old, I was bullied for many years and I fall into depression. Watching the video and seeing that someone else had been through the same thing made me know that I was not alone and that I could choose between knives or pens. To this day I am still in trouble but I am still alive to listen to this album
They treated this song with so much love in this remake, it's better than i expected, when i heard the "stitch" version after the ep version, i thought they ruined it, but they went beyond redemption in this one
This song takes me back to when I was 15 & first watched the music video for Knives & Pens. I'm 25 now & this entire thing was quite a nostalgic experience. Best song they've ever made in my opinion.

THIS is the one I was most excited about! I remember 2010, I kept seeing the thumbnail for this song, but kept passing it by... until I saw Andy as the background on a really cute girl's laptop. For whatever reason, I went and listened to the song. That was the beginning of what has now been 10 years of being a BVB fan. I'm 26. Knives and pens was actually the first song I, and many more I’m sure, heard by bvb 😍 it got me into them and it sounds even better after they redid it
I’d say another reason the screams sound so quiet is because TH-cam had compressed the audio so much. This entire sold would probably sound better if you managed to download it in lossless or full quality

Not a big fan of BVB, but Knives and Pens always has held a soft spot in my heart since it's one of my favorite early 2010s scene metalcore songs. The maturing of Andy's voice worked perfectly for this re-recording. Like, the cleans are so much better, the uncleans are even better than the original, like holy fuck, 10/10.

its because andy cant scream, they are heavily processing his voice with distortion and other effects and if its too loud in the mix people will hear that too easily

This takes me way back to those 2008 vibes when they hit the scene. With the modern vocals and screams and instrumentals, is sounds like the old.. but sounds like the new. I absolutely love it. Feels so good to hear this again ❤
