And I stg if I didn't damn near cry listening to all of the songs. Carolyn was a huge letdown, but I understand Andy's reasoning and respect it. I mean, they could've put re-recorded vocals onto it and just did the instrumental live.

This is what a re-recording should do, update the song to make it seem as if this is what it should've sounded like all along. Not change the style and obliterate the original (looking at you, In Flames)

@@karinamoon6175 He definitely held them back, at least from a sonic perspective. Listen to how much better their songs are now that Ash is out doing his own thing. Lonny is simply way better at playing bass and has a much better chemistry with the rest of the band.
And don’t get unreasonably defensive, because I really don’t feel like arguing back and forth. We’re all on the same team, just with different opinions.

Can we just talk about how Jake Pitts absolutely KILLED the mix on this? Those guitar tones are some of the best i've heard
They sound too MIDI to me. Don't even sound real.
And I know MIDI guitars when I hear them. I used 'em a lot on my GarageBand songs. I might be wrong with how those guitars sound, but obviously they sound too artificial.

How far BVB has gone is amazing, I used to listen to them when I was in my teens and going through a lot. Now in my mid 20's and still going through some stuff I listen to them for both nostalgia and a release.

I haven't listened to BVB in a long time, and I'm listening to this and it just brings back so many memories of when I was in the darkest of dark places and I listened to them all the time, and now that I'm out of that place and listening again, I just think....wow...no matter what, I can still come back to these guys and still feel safe and content
