Here's an awesome little red '63 Chevy Nova! It has a 250 ci in-line 6 cylinder and a 4 speed manual transmission! It has an Offenhauser dual carburetor intake manifold, headers to dual exhaust, and it runs REALLY well! It has very nice shiny red paint with some subtle custom pin striping, attractive chrome wheels, and nice chrome and glass as well. Inside it has custom vinyl & velour red interior that is both clean and comfortable. This car is really quite fun to drive! That snappy little 6 cylinder makes some great power!
If I could EVER get my hands on something like this ,,, I would not CHANGE A THING . I LOVE IT !
What a great car, looks fantastic, sounds fantastic. Very well done Chevy Nova.
just the way I like it 4 speed and a good ol inline 6 ,
This would be an awesome daily driver
Mechanical clutch linkage - I hear it squeak each time it's shifted! Cool car!
Most of my 6s have been from the amc design, but now I have a 67 mustang with a 6, and we carry on. You have a great combo, thanks for sharing. I really like your car, engine, transmission, it all works together! Much good future to you and your 6 binder.
A Chevy II of that vintage with a stick can easily accept a Muncey or the slightly less durable Saginaw four-speed. An engine swap from the194 to a 230, or 250 six is the way to go, along with the standard hop-up tricks.
My grandpa had one till he fell asleep at the wheel.
@1:44 that thing sounds sweet!
A hot 6 in a little car with a 4 speed. My C-10 with 250 would lag.
That's awesome!!!
I Want It !
Very nice
I’m in for the inline 6 cylinder engine for some performance and anything between
Very nice !
Were any of them stock 4 speed inline 6?
Sweet!
Hello I want this same setup with a 4 on the floor tranny. I have a 63 with the 194 inline 6. First of all, what tranny are you using? I want to purchase but don't know what to look for. Secondly, was there much modification to make it happen? Would you have the time to list what I need for this to happen. I really want to get rid of my PG and go manual. Any help is appreciated.
Most any 4 speed from the '60s or 70s Chevy car should bolt right up. I'm more familiar with 3 speeds, but you could try 4 speed from a '63-'64 Impala that would've been behind a 327. Is yours a Nova, or full size Chevy?
At low rpm it sounds like a V8
That's what i thought too it had a v8 when he first started it up but then you see the 6 cyl
At low rpm my Magnum 3,9 V6 1995 Dodge Dakota both sounds and feels like a small V8; EXCELLENT torque in that little 6.
Your lucky your wipers work on yours
Mine don't
Cam much?
