I used to listen to the audio on this video while I did homework , I'd dream of having my split manifold and pipes.I finally got them and couldn't be happier!!
Mike Frech Yes Mike, I lucked out and landed a house in a neighborhood that are all gearheads! Theres rods, muscle cars and Harleys bombin around all the time here! Pure heaven!!!
I love it!! Sounds awesome. Love the floor shifter too. Putting one in my 52 pretty quick. I ran a straight 2 inch exhaust all the way to the back, and then mounted a Harley fishtail muffler just poking out from under the bumper.Looks wicked, and sounds pretty good, although a little quiet. I have a bunch of old harley mufflers Im gonna try. Will post up some vid soon..
@tardzan1968 cool deal bro, mine is a 53 210 deluxe 2 door, original 235 and three speed, just put in a new clutch, brake lines, rebuilt carb. i found a floor shift kit from national chevy assocication for $160, im sure its the exact same set up you have. i was gonna drop in a 350/350 but everyone and their mom does that, i love the stovebolts!
@Gothamauto Oh yea! We all love the sounds of the split six. Still trying out new sounds. I just cut my glass packs open and removed all the packing. Ill record that sound soon too

Is it wrong to constantly smile while hearing the sound of a split manifold inline 6? I like it better then most v8s to be honest.

i want to install fenton headers and manifold with dual single barrel carbs. do i have to install an upgraded cam to my 235 with powerglide?

dont usually like the sound of straght 6 engines but for some odd reason this kinda sound would fit best on a old 50s car.. o.O

If theres cops, dont pull high revs. Push in the clutch more often to keep the pipes quiet. You have to adjust your driving style👍
