I love that you actually call it a real job and you have to be able to grow as a person and professional to get growth in your channel. People don't see it as a job. It's ridiculous that they don't because it's hard, it's not easy to just have an idea and put it online.
Being creative is not easy at all & definitely not for everyone.

I love this! Started my channel back in December 2021 and have solely been working on making good videos. I went from 150 subs to over 700 in the past month which I know isn’t a big deal. But for someone with zero experience and only uploading once every 2 weeks it was really rewarding! So I am really focusing on good video ideas and how to make amazing content for now. Definitely need to work on thumbnails and titles.

I'm trying to learn from those who are in the same niche as me. Supporting as many people as I can and when I watch a video, do so as a viewer not a competitor. I then note 1 thing they did well and 1 thing they need to improve then I use the same technique to evaluate myself. Seems to be working so far for me.

That's for real! Many of us don't have a problem posting a video. We can do it monthly, weekly, or even daily. Getting results is the challenge. "Just post" is too superficial. We need more!

finally I found someone who shows us real and effective methods. Personally, I'm a person focused on quality, not quantity, but all the advice related to youtube said to post many videos in a very short time. Let's be real,sometimes it's hard to do that if we want to edit and post quality videos.

I felt a little discouraged after seeing a few hundreds view after consistently uploading for couple months, but realized that I have been doing exactly the opposite of these ways.
I'll dedicate my time to
1) Develop strong idea
2) Invest time on raising skills
3) See what worked and not worked with the data.

How I grow my channel
First time seeing you on the TB channel, Judah!! Appreciate the wisdom, even the "plug" at 4:16 - I am a Legend level user and I didn't know about the Chapter tool 😅 Not sure if it'll be accurate with a bilingual video, but it's worth a try, right? 🤷♀
I really wish there was the option to have translations for chapters. Right now it can only be in the language of the creator. Def worth the try. And the feature came out this week lol. You're not late to the party 😆

Do we upload 100 shorts in 100 days or 100 shorts in 10 days (if one can)?
Here's the thing "How would TH-cam start recommending our shorts? Amount of time we spend ? Or amount of videos/shorts we upload?

Been doing it on my own for about 2 months.started by just focusing on trying to have fun and enjoy the content im making myself. Took some time but i Got monetised and making 0.2 daily and nice to see it finally picking up.
During the starting days, how to get searchable topics? I mean how to keep getting searchable topics? I have collected about 30 topics to make video on but (yes 30 topics of videos before creating channel so i can be consistent)... But i can't find quality more topics what to do now?

I'd love to know what's better for how viewers find you - TH-cam Search or Browse Features
Browse features would probably be harder for *new* viewers to discover you than search.
i started myself, I am relearning video editing ( I used to do it back when I was in college and after graduation for a few years) e.g. final cut, adrenaline, etc when they first came out. i think that was 2000? lol yeah Im old school original Final cut pro. alas I have no apple computer. (maybe I can do a virtualization? perhaps lol). but I am learning script writing, delivery and pacing now and it's fun. I have a full time job as a 3D artist for game development, but I do love doing gameplay walk throughs, and short reviews. Just a matter of learning, practice and more practice. We all go through those early stages of roughshod videos that eventually grow into great videos. Best of luck out there.

Once again, you take it for granted that all youtube creators talk to the camera. Not all channels are educational or spoken.
There is no doubt that unique content succeeds, but nowadays it is not within the reach of almost anyone because everything that could be done has already been done. You can't record a piano video on the moon. In music channels, where you simply play an instrument, it's very difficult to grow if you don't blow up youtube with content and whoever says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.
Lately, everyone has only cared about the views, but we'll will get better to gain more subscribers

I think the main problem with my videos is that I don’t put enough expression into them, it just sounds like I’m reading off a script. Which I mean it’s not far off I do makes videos about constructions like the legends tower in Oklahoma City, and the American heartland in northeast Oklahoma.
Another thing is my editing, I just put photos because I don’t show my face, so it’s harder to make the video more entertaining.
