I've got it. If you are a small TH-cam channel, it is almost impossible for you to grow without a ready-made audience, so my personal advice is to either broadcast live to gain an audience or open a page on social media sites and make your own advertisement yourself. If you are a game channel, I recommend you to broadcast on Twitch if you are a game channel, I TH-cam 6 months and broadcast live instead of dealing with getting a fixed audience, you will get more efficiency for 6 months, you will not bother with video editing. 🤔

I have spent thousands of hours (literally sadly) going through different you tube channels on a whole host of topics in my quest to be a successful you tube creator. Marcus Jones is in my the top three. Every video hits it out of the park. Thanks Marcus
You’ve clearly put a lot into your channel’s success! It’s inspiring to hear how you’re so focused. Any favorite tips you’ve picked up that could help small creators like us?
@@DataFox7 Thanks! I'm very much still a small creator! I have multiple channels (some performing well, some not) and I can say that the best way to be successful is to a) be very clear on the niche you are operating in - if your topic is too broad the algorithm will struggle to find the right audience for you even if your content is great b) make sure your titles and thumbnails are excellent and 'pop' to the viewer - imagine if you were scrolling on your phone - would you click on it? c) make sure the first ten seconds of your video also 'pops' - both visually and content wise - otherwise you will find that (very annoyingly) you might lose 50% of viewers in the first 10-20 seconds and find the remaining viewers stay for the whole video - you tube will think the video 'isn't performing' and stop promoting it when in fact, it's just a poor intro d) you must post consistently and often (at least twice a week, ideally three or more) otherwise you tube will take it that you aren't committed to your channel e) make sure your content is high quality and bang on your niche - don't post something off piste ever as both viewers and you tube will notice that f) if possible, bring a 'personal touch' to your channel - treat your channel like a brand g) lastly, don't try and compete in a highly saturated niche where there are a lot of big channels - realistically it's going to be v difficult to compete with them - I could go on, but that's probably enough for now! Best of luck.
Thank you for sharing. I started couple days ago a similar process for my niche. But just the manual way with screenshots and looking for patterns in the most popular videos of other channels. I have still massive problems with defining the title but learned a lot for a new thumbnail style and BRoll. Slowly getting more views. The other things I did was deleting all my shorts even the viral ones. I did not regret it.
@@orartransformavidas they attracted the wrong audience. My regular audience are middle age older ladies and they want to watch relaxing tutorials. Short are more for younger people who haven't the patients to watch long form videos. The algorithm was no longer clear who want to watch and it got worse. Now after deleting I got more views on Longform and bit more money
I really needed to see this. I’ve started posting daily shorts, and I’m gonna start uploading longer videos in the future, but I just wanted to know how I can get my videos to a larger audience. Thanks so much for this advice, Marcus!
I don't know the answer as I'm searching for it myself but keep going and don't stop working hard until you've exceeded your goals, then continue pushing. You've got this!!😊❤😊❤
btw if you build an audience from shorts and make long videos u won't get that much views because your audience have low attention span and prefer watching shorts so stick to one thing
I just launched my faceless Personal Finance channel a few weeks ago. Still working on getting subscribers and views but seems to be slow and steady so far. Appreciate all the community support your channel provides to others like me just beginning their TH-cam journey. Cheers mate 👍🏻
Thank you for the guidance; may each of you be appreciated for the effort you put into your channel. I hope that in a year, I’ll at least be able to pay my rent thanks to this channel. Best regards

I just started my youtube channel about a week ago and I am seeing some growth. I got my first 3 subscribers and I am not planning on stopping anytime soon. I am having a lot of fun with this and my goals is to hit 1000 subs before the new year. Lets do this!!! 😁✊
Its been a month since I started uploading and reached 50. Not gonna give up. Yes sometimes during the stream i feel like I don't have an audience and it demotivates me but hey we are just starting. Good luck.
Interesting.... most of what you suggest I’m already doing. But there’s always something to add and improve. The main problem is low views, which affects my motivation. But still, thank you!
Try switching your perspective. If you start learning how to sing.. guitar or piano etc do not expect money, fame and other things in the first year. Its perfectly normal. In business is the same. Most of the busines in romania dont have profit in the first year. Imagine now you have a business. Learn, grow, invest money and time and focus on the future. Or just enjoy the process, you learning how to write a script, how to record, edit etc.
I recently started a TH-cam channel, and although I’m not getting any views yet, I will never give up. I am committed to posting daily because consistency is key. To everyone who has just started, I wish you the best of luck-never give up!
On my other channels they literally don't promote it... So i took a small break of 2 weeks on them before coming back BUT this channel rn seems to be promoted
Just launched my channel a month ago and already reached 1K subscribers! 🎉 Excited to keep growing and empowering people to land the careers of their dreams. Thanks for the great tips-this advice is a game-changer for creators like me! 🚀
To all the amazing TH-cam creators out there, wishing you all the success and growth you deserve! 🌱 I’m hopeful my channel will grow alongside yours, and that we can keep inspiring and supporting each other on this journey! Let’s keep creating! 🌟🔥
This is super helpful, I am going to do some research this weekend, thanks ! To my fellow small youtubers, keep going even when you want to give up, especially when you want to give up 🌸
I went from getting 5k-20k views per vid to now 1k views and was just about to search what I'm doing wrong and this video popped up! Thank you Marcus! 🙏🏿
I have a small 80s & 90s pop culture and nostalgia channel. That may be too narrow of a niche, but I’m having fun a little over 50 videos in. It’s introduced me to some really cool people already, and there’s great value in that alone! Keep it up everyone!
You’re obviously here for a reason, you wanna grow & become a successful content creator, me too. I pray you achieve those goals, it gets discouraging seeing you need 4,000 watch hours & 1,000 subscribers when you only have little to none but i hope we both never quit, we get those hours & subscribers & maybe one day we’ll be inspirations to the next.
Started a gameplay channel a few months ago for something to do with my son, started getting views, not many but some, into the double digits with subs, almost at 20, fingers crossed we grow a bit more over the next few months. Good luck to everyone else!
Awesome! I started a gaming channel as well since I loved playing games growing up! The best thing is to keep going and enjoy learning new things and applying it to the process.🎉 good luck!❤
love the tips and tricks man, ive recently begun my journey and am already at 100 subs and I'm super happy! On the road to monetization 1 sub at a time! Love you all!
I feel frustrated as I upload videos almost daily, do everything from scratch, edit the video, design the visuals and sound, and find a beautiful script, but in the end I get 10 views, most of which are from re-watching my video ,But I find the joy when I'm doing this :)
To people who are thinking about doing YT, I can tell you that as someone with a small TH-cam channel I know how difficult it can be to get different audiences to watch your videos! But if you truly believe that your content will help and maybe even improve other people's lives, you should definitely keep going, no matter how difficult and strenuous the journey is! As embarrassing as it might sound, it took me roughly 2 years to get my first 100 subscribers, and then another 2 years to get the next 100 people to subscribe to my channel! So again, I know the struggles of having a small channel! But once again, that can't and shouldn't affect your determination! If you truly believe in it, you should keep going 👍👍👍 Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend!
this video is so helpful, i can't do velio right now, but i definitely will do the manual way. hoping this grows my channel, good luck to all of the small channels out there!! 💜💜
Yes, it is a huge disappointment when you're posting every day (multiple times) and nothing happens... at first I got views, but they suddenly dropped and I don't know why.
I always just come up with the random topics and titles, doing well at first, but now it’s kinda falling apart. I will try this strategy to get it back on track. So thankful and grateful that algorithm leads this vid to me (hope it will leads mine to the viewers too 😅)
I have just started my channel, only uploaded 8 videos and am looking at ways to increase my subscribers and watch hours as well as increase my retention. Your tips are extremely useful and your humour is fantastic. I will persevere because I am passionate about the topics I am covering. I look forward to the day when my channel reaches out to millions ❤
Good advice I'll check it out. My brothers an I started this gaming channel a few months back. It's really tough to get any attention in such a saturated niche. Good luck to all the small channels out there!
Cheers for sharing this. Must be fun looking at the videos on this channel and seeing how your points hit the traction. Respect bro, Stay safe, have fun, enjoy life! 👌👍🍻🤗
For me, it has been very effective to do "research" of popular videos and topics on channels similar to mine, and compare my channel with those channels. The correct use of keywords is quite effective (at least in my experience). My most viewed and successful videos in terms of engagement are those in which I apply this strategy, but which at the same time have an original touch that differentiates my video from similar videos on other channels. Last year my channel went from almost 2K subs to 6k subs in a few months because of that.
The hardest thing about having a small channel is waking up and finding nothing has changed...
Bless you, subbed🎉

Hopefully. There was someone with 80 000 subscribers who didn't have enough watch hours to get monetized.
Small youtubers lets gather here
Grateful for the tips! Just recently started my YT journey and your advice is really helpful!
You are Amazing ❤❤ Great Video 🥰😍🎉🥳 Thank you so very much for this great breakdown 🥳🎉😍🥰
Small channels, remember: OUR VIDEOS ARE AMAZING! ❤ We pour so much time, energy, and love into them.
Subscribe please from Manila Philippines
You're great; love your humor and sarcasm. Love it!
I have spent thousands of hours (literally sadly) going through different you tube channels on a whole host of topics in my quest to be a successful you tube creator. Marcus Jones is in my the top three. Every video hits it out of the park. Thanks Marcus
As a new youtube channel myself it's definitely been a struggle so far. But we just got to hang in and move forward
@@themarekch cheers pal - appreciate the kind words - best of luck with yours - subscribed!
@HedoneAILuxury no worries about it. As a new channel I know how it can be.
Great video! Retention is key for growth, but honestly, a lot of success on TH-cam also comes down to luck. Just stay consistent and enjoy it!
I believe it's about luck. If the algo can find the right audience then you can grow fast
I'll try this! This is very different from what the other channels say, thanks!
Started my channel and will be consistent. Thanks for the tips and good luck to all other creators 💪
Consistency is key! It’s fantastic to see creators supporting each other. I’m working on an OSINT academy channel-let’s see where it takes us
@ Great to hear. Good luck, let’s do this
Enjoy your pacing and style for your videos. Thank you for the valuable info! Let's stay focused and grow everyone!
Hype up all small youtubes channels ❤ we got this
Oh yeah
Thank you for sharing. I started couple days ago a similar process for my niche. But just the manual way with screenshots and looking for patterns in the most popular videos of other channels. I have still massive problems with defining the title but learned a lot for a new thumbnail style and BRoll. Slowly getting more views. The other things I did was deleting all my shorts even the viral ones. I did not regret it.
Hi! Please, why did you delete your shorts? I wonder how this could be good for the channel?
@@orartransformavidas they attracted the wrong audience. My regular audience are middle age older ladies and they want to watch relaxing tutorials. Short are more for younger people who haven't the patients to watch long form videos. The algorithm was no longer clear who want to watch and it got worse. Now after deleting I got more views on Longform and bit more money
Small Channel Here! Keep on grinding and eventually achieve the results we want!
Thanks for the insight. Hoping that we will all find our place someday. 🍀
I just launched my faceless Personal Finance channel a few weeks ago. Still working on getting subscribers and views but seems to be slow and steady so far. Appreciate all the community support your channel provides to others like me just beginning their TH-cam journey. Cheers mate 👍🏻
Keep going!
Thank you for the guidance; may each of you be appreciated for the effort you put into your channel. I hope that in a year, I’ll at least be able to pay my rent thanks to this channel. Best regards
Love your videos! I know everyone is doing a hard work into growing his channel. Hope everyone gets the deserved views! Good luck everybody!
Spoiler: the secret is making good videos
I am thankful for my small niche that does not need such complicated study. Just read competitors' channels manually can do.
Wow your subscriber numbers are amazing for just 8 months, be proud of yourself and well done. Namaste. 😊❤😊❤
Awesome video . I am small TH-camr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform.
I just started my youtube channel about a week ago and I am seeing some growth. I got my first 3 subscribers and I am not planning on stopping anytime soon. I am having a lot of fun with this and my goals is to hit 1000 subs before the new year. Lets do this!!! 😁✊
keep it up
Its been a month since I started uploading and reached 50. Not gonna give up. Yes sometimes during the stream i feel like I don't have an audience and it demotivates me but hey we are just starting. Good luck.
@@babayaga9805that's the spirit, keep it up.😊❤😊❤
I have also the same spirit, keep going
That's fantastic mate 👍. It's definitely a struggle at times. Keep moving forward
Started my channel a month ago and I am still under 30 subscribers, uploading weekly trying to land a niche from the things I love.
Hi Marcus,
My Channel is a variety Channel, so either I have no niche, or I have many niches. How should I approach this?
Same here!!! I should create more channels and definitely a banner!
Wish you all the very best and perseverance to reach your TH-cam dreams.. Small channels unite..🙋🏻♂️
All the best for you as well.
All the best for you as well.
@gardentours cheers!
I reached 17 subscribers and I really appreciate it! Don’t give up on your dreams,Thank you and may god bless you!
I reached 14 today lo congrats keep posting peace!
Subbed, wish you luck in the future!
@@ronaldrichardson4451 Subbed, wish you luck in the future!
Yes, I've had those low views and once a video has been up for a week or more it's harder to get noticed
I post memes 🗿
Just launched my channel a month ago and already reached 1K subscribers! 🎉 Excited to keep growing and empowering people to land the careers of their dreams. Thanks for the great tips-this advice is a game-changer for creators like me! 🚀
To all the amazing TH-cam creators out there, wishing you all the success and growth you deserve! 🌱 I’m hopeful my channel will grow alongside yours, and that we can keep inspiring and supporting each other on this journey! Let’s keep creating! 🌟🔥
Thanks your words mean a lot. Boost me all the best to you too
This is super helpful, I am going to do some research this weekend, thanks ! To my fellow small youtubers, keep going even when you want to give up, especially when you want to give up 🌸
I went from getting 5k-20k views per vid to now 1k views and was just about to search what I'm doing wrong and this video popped up! Thank you Marcus! 🙏🏿
Same bro. Had huge views now barely 1k... It demotivated a lot
@@yurkoshow not sure why but I'm about to find out!
I launched my TH-cam channel 2 months ago, and your channel is incredibly helpful! thank you
one day the algorithm will bless us all 🙏
I have a small 80s & 90s pop culture and nostalgia channel. That may be too narrow of a niche, but I’m having fun a little over 50 videos in. It’s introduced me to some really cool people already, and there’s great value in that alone! Keep it up everyone!
WE ARE ALL GONNA MAKE IT!
Keep going! We got this!
Thank You For 50 Subscribers!
Congratulations 🎉
Started a gameplay channel a few months ago for something to do with my son, started getting views, not many but some, into the double digits with subs, almost at 20, fingers crossed we grow a bit more over the next few months. Good luck to everyone else!
Awesome! I started a gaming channel as well since I loved playing games growing up! The best thing is to keep going and enjoy learning new things and applying it to the process.🎉 good luck!❤
love the tips and tricks man, ive recently begun my journey and am already at 100 subs and I'm super happy! On the road to monetization 1 sub at a time! Love you all!
with you all the way gl bro
Congratulations on over 100 subs , Ive subscribed 👍 I’m also a gaming channel. Good luck with yours 😊
@@RogerPlaysGames78 appreciate it man
@@corpse_verse no worries 👍 I’m hoping to reach my 50 sub goal soon 😊👍
Most of the tips really helped! Thank you!
1 view in 1 min bro fell offf
Shut up dude😂
I feel frustrated as I upload videos almost daily, do everything from scratch, edit the video, design the visuals and sound, and find a beautiful script, but in the end I get 10 views, most of which are from re-watching my video ,But I find the joy when I'm doing this :)
Goodness - you are giving us some seriously useful info. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
To people who are thinking about doing YT, I can tell you that as someone with a small TH-cam channel I know how difficult it can be to get different audiences to watch your videos! If you truly believe in it, you should keep going 👍👍👍
Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend!
this video is so helpful, i can't do velio right now, but i definitely will do the manual way. hoping this grows my channel, good luck to all of the small channels out there!!
Thank you for this video, Marcus! I used this method on my latest video and noticed a drastic improvement in views!
Thanks dude i will try it rn ❤❤
Loved the video thanks !! ❤ and also love AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺🍃
I know there’s loads of people in here in the same position as me! Stay positive, consistent and it can only go uphill! Keep it up guys
Awesome and informative video as always thanks for such valuable content.❤
We’ve got this! Thanks for all your tips Marcus!
Dude you could have created a course and made lots of money off of us with this strategy but instead you told us in a video. What a g man❤
Wow! Amazing video! Congrats!
