    Thanks for being brave enough to do this, it's really helped me out today, I spent 15 years in the RAF Regiment No2sqn, at 47 I'm a recovering heroin addict and a benzoes addict and alcoholic, I'm going to rehab on Friday morning and I'm bricking it, but to know anyone can have this happen is, well I feel I bit less anxious, so thank you

      Yeah, a nice touch, not so much this 1, but certain accents/dialects are even difficult for someone like me born in the 🇬🇧 2 understand, so I can see that as a *"God-Send"* 4 ppl not native to the British Isles!
      Yous lot 4rm the Americans should try having a go with the scouse or Brummie accents, mad difficult 2 understand, how lads 4rm [up north] Liverpool or[bang on Central England] Birmingham talk😂😂crazy tingz is I'm 4rm Birmingham[Born n 🍞 Breed]😂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😂& even I struggle to make out fully, especially particularly these 2 accents & I can guarantee you if you ask the other 150 odd town n cities around the United kingdom, they'd all say the same!!!

    • @alicealleyne
      @alicealleyne 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s difficult enough for non UK people to understand dialects then you decide to write slang words such as 4rm, ‘n’, ppl.. ‘4’ instead of ‘for’
      How old are you?! This is what idiots write in year 7!

    This channel somehow gets the absolute best out of people in terms of storytelling. Amazing work.
    This one was quite shocking, how deranged he became in pursuit of a high. Of course this is part and parcel of hard drugs, but still it's surprising how far he took it.
    One thing I'd like to have heard a bit more about is the victims of the robberies though. I felt like maybe he hasn't really come to terms with that yet. I've heard stories of people having guns pointed at them during robberies who've needed therapy for years after. For a normal, law-abiding civilian, something like that can be extremely traumatic.

    Very interesting episode. I’m not assuming but I do wonder what the tipping point for him taking drugs in the first place was. Doing his job seeing horrible stuff, high stress and pressure. Cambridge university reckon 1/5 serving police officers either have or have symptoms of PTSD but it’s not really reported or assumed that emergency services have issues like normal people. I wonder what the last few years or months of his career prior to starting down the drugs path involved. Glad he’s doing better now and FairPlay for being so honest. Sad to hear those so called mates and Rugby team didn’t stop him or try and get him out of it to begin with before virtually throwing the stuff at him.

    I've been through addiction and crime myself, different scale than this madlad, but the progression and end results were about the same. Drugs and crime go hand in hand, and I don't see a way to separate them other than decriminalisation and mental health programs, because harsher punishment and more surveillance has been tried and tested and failed every time. If this guy had gotten help when he got addicted in the beginning, he could have been a police officer today without all the madness he eventually went through. That's my 2 cents anyway

    I would love to share my story. I’m going to be a documentary about my friend Sophie Anderson passed away. She was in the adult industry and was very famous for a while. I transgender woman I have my sexual reassignment surgery when I was 17. I’m now 31. I lived a double life meaning I had the money I wanted, I looked and felt amazing. No one knew I was trans because I am a woman but no one. Clocked but I became a heroin addict prostitute that was making thousand and thousands but it all as away even though I had a beautiful place I was OCD clean my skincare make up hair no one knew I was taking drugs but eventually no matter if you have millions, it will show, I am 10 years and I was on methadone which was even worse so I completely understand what is going through. I hope his nose is okay because his septum looks very thin. Like I say I’m going to be in a documentary so it’ll probably be on BBC or Channel 4. It’s in the work doing an interviews and all of that stuff so I hope to tell Sophie story from her best friend and some of my story and how the adult work industry is broken and it breaks already broken people.

    I went through a very similar sutuation during covid for almost 2 years, and just like he said , i was like a hermit day in and day out ay home sniffing trying to block all life's stress ect, but thank god one day the face of my baby boy made something click in my head, no rehab just willpower I've locked myself in for 3 months blocked my acess to any money well that was easy got I debt with everybody that I can and turned my phone off 😂 BTW I've since payed everyone back and apologise explaining that i had to hit rock-bottom at the time, so for 3 months I sat at home watching movies and smoking weed which i used to subdice the coke, then started to go out made sure I stayed away from anyone that got it, this year I've cut smoking weed and now i can't be happy everyday breathing fresh air
    To anyone's reading this and going there is a way

      Yeah but there’s a difference between dons who nick a pack of sweets as a kid and dons who destroy their own and the lives of their family, committing armed robberies and other violent destructive crimes because they have no discipline

    'nice one gary! you're a top bloke!'
    what a bunch of muppets, sandbagged in by his charisma.
    Why don't they go interview the people he robbed off? See how they felt about the experience?
