I honestly expected this movie to end with the cliche "I'm sorry for everything, I'm a better person now" speech and the protagonist getting her huge redemption arc and everyone forgives her. I'm glad it didn't, the ending showed that we can't always mess up and still get that validation we desperately crave after making mistakes

tbh unless you've been through trauma yourself, the ending isnt going to be it...but having gone through a sudden tragic death myself, people every day post about traumatic situations for social status, clout, whatever.. "story fillers" or relevancy to feel important...without understanding how deeply rooted the pain actually is to experience it first hand , and they do it in such a desensitized way...it just takes away from your own experience and invalidates it when someone else is given the same treatment as you when they havent actually gone through anything...idk i think the ending was fair but i still feel bad for her character lmao she just needed therapy to begin with
