The map of the time is wrong.The culture of coastal minor asia is fully greek, the Turks did not settle they just conquered the area the transferred capitals from villages to major greek cities.And that happened not even a century ago and apart from loot no depopulation catastrophe was followed, not even forced convertion to Islam.These area came slowly to have 20-40% remaining greeks as part of religious assimilation mainly through privileges or intermarriage where the male had to convert to Islam, so that period the coastal areas should be greek, but i think the developers are biased towards the Ottomans and they do not want the greek to be first ottoman culture, problem is it was.The only muslims in the Ottoman state when Constantinople fell were the nobility, the priests and the Janisaries.

In Indian history Marathas are pretty significant.... They had op military tradition and would have overthrew the Mughals during the late 1700's had it not been for the Brits But they aren’t supposed to exist during 1444... Whoever formed them went ham

I suspected as much "in real life", but in the game Marathas is one of those pop-up Indian nations that come later, iirc (which would match your info). It seems like VJ or Bahaminis don't do well in Observer/What-If scenarios. Of course, if you're playing near the area in a real game, one of them comes monsters ... along w/ Delhi, maybe Andhra, Jaunpur, etc etc as an alternative.
@@classiclife7204 Thats a rather accurate portrayal tbh. India is filled with history of empires rising to dominance just to fragment sooner or later. Which would led either regional powers or foreign invaders fight to unify the subcontinent just to meet the same fate of those who did it before.

That Tupiniquim pronouciation was pretty solid, the only thing you got wrong was the "quim" The "ui" in portuguese only has the sound of "i", so you would pronounce it "tupiniqim"
I've never in my entire time playing seen something like happened in Iberia in this game. It's amazing how Granada expands and shrinks and expands and shrinks.
Fun fact, the ottoman expansion in Italy is not that far-fetched, the Ottomans did invaded and captured Otranto, an italian town, and just before his death Mehmet II fatih, the sultan that conquered Constantinople, planned an invasion, although no one knows what would've been the aim (he always keep details secret), one hypothesis would've been to conquer some stuff in Italy ^^ And personally, when I play Ottoman, I love to expand a little in Italy, it's fun to conquer Rome and imagine the total devastation of all the christians in Europe XD
What if every historical rival nation its ally to each other and they can never break that alliance with each other regardless of how low their relation are. Kinda want to see the cursed alliance with Muscovy and Novgorod or Austria-Ottoman-Mamluk alliance lol.
Is there a way that all nations including ones that can be released can start in 1444? Off course a lot of provinces have multiple cores so I don't know how you would divide it between nations.
The most cursed eu4 game i have ever seen. Mamluks and Ottomans allies, something that you rarely see. Sometimes, when both Mamluks and Ottomans are too equal and neither expands too fast, they can lose interest in rivalries and just be netral to eachother ....it happened in a game as Brandenburg when i was looking for allies against Ottomans and noticed they are not rivals :)
Hesse as as Rhenish isn't really fitting, because they're actually hessian, which isn't a culture in the game. Next time Cologne (best German nation) for example would be better. But still a very interesting video. I really enjoy your videos

looks like an awesome fiction setting. three massive muslim enpires that share the holy land and jerusalem are on a conquest to take the world. france is the last great europeon power left, and has conquered most others to gain enough power to defend christianity. A wandering travellir may find themselves on one of andalusias many trading islands, the survivors and descendents of a forgotten kingdom. To the east matharas has united the indian subcontinent for centuries, and now stagnate in the dawn of the new age. The imperial power of japan, having tasted the luxury of colonization, has awakened a greed for everything they could have. anyone else want to describe other nations?

Apparently he is incorrect, while looking trough the wiki of Brandenburg/Prussian events I saw nothing of the annexation. But there is an event that makes it highly likely that if both Brandenburg and Prussia exist, while Prussia is AI controled, Brandenburg get an PU in Prussia

Papal state is actually not the primary nation of Umbrian, it's Urbino, but that wouldn't changed much anyways
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but ternate get events that allow them to colonise nearby provinces
