Why not unclip it from the harness? No concerns here with voltage and electrons still being in those cables?

@@PercyReynolds I just sprayed mine while still clipped. Not an issue. Usually I spray clip but the clips get weak and break.You don’t need to change the way it’s done
I heard somewhere you’re suppose to disconnect it before cleaning it so you don’t throw a code
No kidding and may quit banging it. and spraying fluid all over everything.
Did your check engine light came on after cleaning it?

@ Off after I drove it, turned the truck off and it went away next day
What else can we use to spray just to clean it?
Probably could use brake clean
electric contact cleaner
Mass airflow sensor cleaner. Get it at your nearest hardware store
I have always used brake cleaner
I59, 00 on my 2018 l5p and the sensor has never been cleaned
