Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! Of all the ideas I had for my laser (s lol) I never imagined what I could do with resin. I have mountains of resin and molds and I can’t wait to blend the laser with the resin and see what I can create now.

Darn , it was perfect timing but I gave to leave n a few minutes for a dental app. From the sublime to the ridiculous. I’ll take my iPad with me and hit the first restaurant with wifi when I’m done. You are my favourite alcohol ink artist. I’m sure you will be my favourite laser artist too. I do wish I had seen this before I ordered my laser that took an hour to set up. I would have purchased this one.

@@EdnaWargon I bought the Ortur Laser Master 3. I bought all the accessories and put everything into the building I which I am setting up my new studio. When I made space on the workbench I will be setting it up on I couldn’t find it. I have had several young people helping me with the project and m having looked absolutely everywhere I thought it may have gone home with one of them. I still had all the accessories so I ordered another one. And of course the day before it was to arrive I found the original one.
While I was or the new one to arrive I spent more time online and decided I wanted to try the Laserpecker LXn1 with the artist attachment. So I ordered it. It was a brand new model coming from China. Six weeks later it still hasn’t arrived. At least it is Canada so hopefully I will see it soon. The aristo module that looks like the piece that holds the laser (which has a ten or twenty watt option) but instead of the laser beam you can put in felt pens,pencils, felts or almost any drawing/colouring instrument. I just had to have that feature so I ordered one of those. All you need to do is unfold it and push Start. My Ortur took over an hour to set up and was pretty frustrating.
One more thing is the original Ortur had ten watts and I hadn’t even taking it out of the box when they released a 20 watt one. Luckily it is available separately to work with existing ones. For another $681. It seems like I will soon have 3 lasers and an upgrade and I haven’t even turned any of them on yet. I am pretty I impulsive when it comes to anything art related. Many people have suggested I start a store but it would be difficult to decide what I could let go of.
I am sitting in the restaurant now trying to swallow some poached eggs and now I will watch your channel.

Thanks for the video Mam, please can you help me? why do you apply acrylic paint on metal surface, if you don't apply it. does the laser works?

Metal is reflective. The laser bounces back so it won't engrave. If you cover the laser with flat dark paint, the laser penetrates and will engrave metal and glass.

I can answer that, you can't engrave on resin.
