Love the progress, and the white board. So many issues you've managed to work through!!! Anxious to see the results soon!!

Thank you so much Ted! Yeah I should have gotten a whiteboard a LONG time ago, it makes explaining things so much easier!

Hi Grant how are ya? I’m glad to see things are now working out for you and the build. You have had many issues and worked through them all!! As always thank you so much for sharing your work.
I have a question for ya. Have been able to drive the Jeep with the gtd1752vrk turbo yet? If so what did ya think? I ask because I’m thinking that’s the turbo I would like to run on my swap. God bless you and the family.

Thank you! Yeah the build has been coming along very well lately. I've been VERY happy with the progress.
SO quick spoiler, I have driven my TJ with GTD1752vrk and I have to say I love it. The engine just seems SO happy, but that is also because it's paired with a tune from Tekmektronics, they did a fantastic job on building a tune that delivery predictable power!

@@RustyAutoholicGuy I’m glad it’s running well!! I will use that tuner for my build. I can’t wait to see where you take the Jeep it’s gonna be fun!!!

How is that conpushift doing with the turbo? Are you giving it throttle position and boost reference via canbus - or sensors?

All those values and few others are all coming into the CompuShift from the VW ECU via Canbus, which made the install so much easier.

@@RustyAutoholicGuy good for your build after all you have been through. Bad for me wondering about mechanical diesel and conpushift.

How is the vibration compared to the kubota, I have a cj2a with a 2203 and that’s the only thing I don’t like about it.
Is the tdi a significant difference in vibration

It's hard for me to tell because I went to hydraulic motor mounts which helped ALOT. It might be worth switching your motor mounts first to see if that helps. As much as I like my TDI, I really loved the simplicity of the Kubota engine.

Thanks I do have nice rubber mounts not as nice as those big hydraulic ones. Maybe I’ll try them.
