A deep dive on Florida's toll roads

Do you feel like you are being nickeled and dimed every time you get behind the wheel? If you use toll roads in Florida, you might be right.
Trucker Employment site, TransForce states Florida has “over 719 miles of toll roads crisscrossing the state”.
Researchers say Orange County has the most, with 150+ miles of toll roads.

I got bored and started mathing on toll roads... And after all expenses have been paid for the roads overall construction and the much smaller funds afterwards for maintenance, I can't find the ultimate end goal of any project or where the clear excess amount of money goes.😮‍💨

HWY 50 from 520 is a MESS everyone comes off the bee line and running late for work and it's a 4 lane road with NO street lights within miles with no emergency lane. I got hit on my bicycle coming back across HWY 50 by a new Jeep Cherokee doing at least 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. I GOT a ticket for not being in a crosswalk, and there's only 2 in 17 miles !!!! Plus about 2 million in hospital bills. Dan Nuelan wouldn't take the case because they have the very cheapest insurance you can get, and still get a tag on a leased jeep

Sounds like that road should be a limited access road like an interstate is (of course Florida would toll it). I feel bad for you that you got hit and the cop did you dirty (even if technically it was within the law to do so).

This is different my first time seeing this channel
