I have owned Affinity Photo since it's first release and it's very clear that the main focus is in the "Photo" persona with not a lot of effort on the "Develop" persona. The develop persona has a long way to go before I can consider it as a main tool. Thanks for sharing
Tony I would agree with you that Affinity Photo took more time in developing the raster/studio side of the program. The good thing here is that if you only want to edit in Affinity Photo, you can do it all be it not like you would in a program that had RAW development in mind when the program was built. I am hopeful that it will get better though.
Thanks Chris for going through the RAW develop. I haven`t used this yet in Affinity Photo 2 as I do most of my RAW editing in DXO or On1 but this is useful to know especially being able to look up the lens profiles. Thank you again.
Glad it was helpful! I don't use it too often, but I am working on a workflow that allows me to work 100% in Affinity Photo to edit, and this is just the first step to doing that. I have more videos in the que when it comes to Affinity Photo. My hope is to roll them out on a weekly basis, but we will see.
